This Onkyo System is great for someone wanting the best bang for their buck. Onkyo's 5.1 660W System sounds great once settings are adjusted to your environment; equipment performance and features available are excellent for a system in this price range. Bass is loud and perfect for a small to medium size room. Keep in mind this is not a high end system so you'll definitely see that in materials and design, particularly in all speaker enclosures (quality seem better on sub-woofer,). Speaker enclosures don't have a threaded mount option; only key hole slot are available so it could be difficult to secure speakers when using universal mounts. Key hole mount kept slip out of place as I try to tighten up /secure User interface is not attractive and looks dated, took some time to get used to the menu navigation; however, all features work as expected.

Always wanted a surround sound system I could control without the DVD player included. This system does it all. Best deal for your $$$.

I was originally looking for a sound bar, but this setup offered more features for about the same price. It also fit better in my entertainment center. The setup was very easy, everything is color coded. I was a little worried about the non powered subwoofer but it has way more bass than I expected! If you are looking for an affordable home theater setup, I would definitely recommend this.

This receiver has everything you need for the price. I bought a Yamaha for the same price and rreturned it for the Onkyo. This Onkyo has 6 HDMI input, it supports 4k technology, Aux. line, passive subwoofer which I prefer so that I can move it around without having to worry about a short power cable and getting up every time to turn on and off and the USB port is a huge bonus which the Yama does not have. I like the fact that the wires have different colors but they are not thick enough. To hear the deep bass people, turn it to negative 10

Ordered this online for store pickup. Read reviews on amazon about it, i was torn between this and a different more expensive system. All the reviews said get this system and i deff agree. I have not even hooked up the subwoofer, the 5 speakers alone have pleanty of bass and tremble. I can only imagine what the woofer is like. For the money, this is one h*ll of a surround system. You wont be disasspointed. The only con i have with this is i upgraded from a sony 5.1 system where if you had it on volume 10 it was nice and loud. On this i have to have it on volume 25. Im told this is normal, either way, the sound is crisp and clear and sick!

Before buying any home theater system! I did my resurch, and this one is great! The sound & bass is better then I thought it would be, can go wrong with this one, buy it u won't regret it! I have two now!

This is a great system for the price. Crisp sound, easy to connect Bluetooth, I love it!
