Set up was not quite as described in the quick start guide. All is well now and daily operation is very quick, i.e., switching from satelite to Netflix to DVD.

Bought this to replace old Sony theater in a box system that the media center died on and this system is great. Great sound and connectivity options.

The Yamaha surround sound system is a excellent choice for the money i paid. We cannot believe just how good it sounds. Would definitely recommend this system.

good sound for the money. comes with speaker wire that is enough for a good size living room. it sounds amazing with movies and sports and okay for playing music.

Great for a living room or a bedroom set up. If you don"t have a set top box it will still work with a few more button clicks and a fiber optic cable from TV to receiver. Turn table needs to have pre amp output. A great product for the price. I bought two.

I had a Sony home theater before this one. It was nice, but this one blows it away. Perfect for my 4k blu rays and TV.

got this instead of a sound bar because it works when just watching the tv or with DVDs. good sound truly a surround sound effect hearing sound effects didn't hear on my old system. looks good measurements are accurate . good and adjustable sub woofer.

At this price, you're not really going to find much better. The audio quality is fantastic and for an all-in-one system it's great value. The next upgrade is at least double this (I got this on a small sale). Recommended.

This is the best entry level surround sound system I have ever had. Very easy to install buy you may have to buy extra speaker wire depending on the layout of your room. Speakers are clear and the sub-woofer has lots of bass. Very recommended.

A little on the higher price side for a Home Theatre in a Box. But, I think it's the best Box HT that you can get for your money. The receiver is great, and upgradeable for better speakers in the future. The speakers it comes with sound better than the Bose Solo unit I had (because it's a complete system and surround sound) and they sound better than the Sony and Samsung models I tested. I think Sony and Yamaha bass were comparable. The Samsung "wireless" system was junk compared to this though. Overall, would buy again.

Excellent sound. I thought my previous surround sound system was pretty good, but this one is a million times better.

We put this system in our home movie theater and it works well. To keep our neighbors happy, we keep it turned down, but it really helps give the space that theater feel. It was a good value and perfect for our needs.

Pretty straight forward and easy. Great sound from an all inclusive deal. Reasonable price point as well.

You don't need to blast this system I have it down stairs and I only turn it up to -30 and it sounds great

Love how this sounds whether on TV a movie or the radio. Sounds as good as my Bose system in my truck.

For the price, this is a great system. does more than I will need and sounds good. usually cant go wrong with Yamaha.

The surround sound is great !! This easily hooked up to my television and DVD system. Especially good watching movies

i got this after returning a Samsung soundbar and rear speaker set this system has good bass sound and easy set (if you read the instruction ) like that it has 4 hdmi port and one out it really simply to hook up
