Our standard outdoor music only reaches front and back decks. We needed music in the garage and for front yard parties. After hearing friend's great bluetooth systems, we were concerned that we were going to be out $100 - $150 bucks. This was on sale for $39 (I think)...and is awesome! All the other reviews are true - it is definitely loud. It lost a star since other systems have hanger option (If you could see my garage, you would understand there is not a dedicated shelf for it - and hanging is must.) Fortunately we're handy people and can rig something. But overall, we're happy to have this for our front yard speaker. If you have a large backyard, you may want to somehow figure out a center-of-the-yard spot for it. If not, some are going to think it's too loud, while other's think it's too low.

Right now I am listening to Journey on my new Hextls Bluetooth Speaker. I was going to spend $79 on a Sony Bluetooth speaker and I saw the good reviews on this one. I got it for $39 on a Cyber Monday deal at Best Buy. Awesome decision! First of all it has weight and feels like quality. Second, I was looking for something that had good volume for web interviews that sometimes were to low even when cranked up to 100%. This does a great job with easy to access volume controls. Third, I work from home and I like music in the background, but not too loud to distract me from my work. This unit fits the bill. On low volume the music is very distinct and fairly clear. Third, when I want to crank up the music so I can hear it in the next room or fill up a large space with sound like when I am working out, it fits the bill just fine with a nice little bass thump. Fourth, I like the size of the unit, not too big or too small. It sits vertically, on a rubber 4.5" x 1.5" base (very stable) and it sits 6" high. For the price you cannot beat it. Sure you can pay more and many audiophiles do, but for my needs it is perfect.

Holy cow! This thing rocked my ears. I was not expecting this much performance out of such a small speaker, At least not for this price. $59.99 is definitely a steal out of a unit that is louder than most $100+ units that I've heard before. Definitely recommended!

Speaker is super loud, just as everyone mentioned. The bass is nice, and doesn't drown out highs or mids. Overall a great purchase

It's rare these days I buy something I dig like this but it's good and loud. The build quality is treasure and sound quality too. How do they build this as one solid piece of aluminum? It's very high quality for the price.
