Great controller choice for someone who wants a controller for some combination of Nintendo Switch, PC, and phone. Can be paired with 4 devices and has a switch in the back to choose what to use it with. Has all of the standard buttons in addition to analog triggers and two additional back buttons. Has software that allows you to customize the buttons and lets you save multiple profiles if you want different layouts for different games. Form factor is similar to the Playstation controllers, which some may find to be less comfortable than the Xbox or Nintendo Pro Controller. Comes with a rechargeable battery pack, but also fits AA batteries if you aren't able to charge but want to keep playing. Lacks a good battery level indicator.

Works great, whatever you throw at it. I’ve tried pc games/emulation and my Nintendo switch. All of them work really well. Has pretty good battery life and it works great on retro games. Definitely worth it

If there's one controller I would recommend for PC/phone retro gaming it would be this! Someone returned this and I snatched it up for $10 off! Nothing was wrong with it. I updated the firmware and it works with everything ive connected it to.

Got this to use with my Nvidia Shield 4k Pro and it works great. I really like the configurable buttons. Good battery life from the included rechargeable but you can also use AAs if need be.

Purchased this controller to use with Nintendo Switch. Great controller. Wasn’t as expensive as the pro controller. Feels just like a PlayStation controller which is a plus to me. Would definitely recommend

Well worth the price. Very comfortable to hold and controls are perfectly responsive. Works on Switch, PC, Android and Mac; has turbo, extra back buttons, and programmable profiles. Possibly the best controller I've purchased.

I work in a game lounge and get to use all kinds of tech, and this controller is far superior to PowerA or the Pro switch controller. Battery life is superior, connectivity is superior, the buttons and material are superior. I am using this on my Nintendo switch oled. Follow the directions provided to connect. The battery needs to charge out of the box. This controller was designed with adult use in mind. The Joy Con buttons are so small. This controller has full sized buttons and joy sticks. Overall, again, best on the market. I bought my 8 bitdo controller in stores at bestbuy.

Awesome controller. I have played Xbox Gamepass on my phone and only off cellular data and there has been no lag at all. The buttons do not click anywhere near as loud as the backbone so I play without annoying anyone beside or around me. I loved my backbone but the button clicks were really loud for others. It didn't bother me as much but it annoyed my wife.

The first controller I received had a defective right stick, but exchanging it at my local store was fast and easy. The new controller I received works perfectly and feels great to use. It will take me some time to get used to the symmetrical stick layout, and the stick grips are a bit slippery, but that can be easily solved by adding thumb stick covers. The buttons and dpad will be great for 2D games, and the Ultimate software is easy to use and well designed. My only problem with the controller is that the triggers feel really squishy compared to Xbox controllers. They feel slow when pressing all the way down, but luckily the sensitivity can be customized with the Ultimate software. Overall, this is a great controller for the price, and is incredibly versatile by being compatible with several platforms.

I now own two of these controllers. The first I bought specifically for playing zelda BtoW, since the joy-con remotes are two small for my hands, and after "switching" I was blasting through Lynels with ease :] The 2nd i purchased with the 8bitdo adapter to use on my PC and other consoles and i have no complaints.

People of a certain age are all traumatized by terrible third party controllers. This unit satisfies three decades of hateful product being foisted upon us. Seriously though, perfect controller. Spend the money. Totally worth it. (Bought for use with emulators, works great for everything.)

It’s so nice to have a PlayStation style controller for Switch. I play lots of 2D games on switch so the D-Pad is placed perfectly. All button presses are satisfying. And feels like quality in ur hands. I was gonna get the 8Bit Do version that’s designed like the SNES controller because it is just a bit more portable being smaller and flat. But for the extra 5-10 bucks, may as well get the most comfortable feeling option and this controller doesn’t disappoint.

Want something to use with my laptop and have as a backup for my switch. This works great, and with it having strictly what is needed the rechargeable battery seems to last forever, It has been exactly what I wanted. It also setup and connected very quickly. Responsiveness is great while playing.
