Picked this up as a second controller and went with the white color. It looks clean and modern in person and hasn’t shown dirt or wear so far. Comfort-wise, this is exactly what I wanted. The grips feel solid, the sticks are smooth and accurate, and the buttons are responsive without being loud. It’s a huge upgrade over Joy-Cons for longer sessions, especially when playing docked. Battery life has been excellent — I don’t have to think about charging it often. Pairing was quick and it’s stayed connected without any issues. Small con: like most first-party controllers, it costs more than third-party options, but the build quality and reliability justify it. If you want a comfortable, dependable controller and like a cleaner aesthetic, this is a great choice.

The sticks feel really smooth, and I love that you can program the buttons without using the software. Having a turbo button always accessible has been a game changer. I thought I would hate the extra shoulder buttons, but they actually are in the perfect spot at the ends of your fingertips. I use them in Spaltoon for the boyah emotes. Only complaint kinda is the weird set up you have to do for the controller to wake up the switch, but you only have to do it once, and other controllers have a similar process.

I looked at yhe web site offerings of 8bit controllers , but i know everything about Controllers and so focusing on the words the descriptio , my wrist/thumb fatigue would now be over, i mean look at the size of that thing, further enchantment as i made my way to pay, lickity split, found a taxinstraight away leaving the store, all there was left for the triple bonanza Best Buy experience, was tonhit all green lights going home, wouldnt you know it, the last possible intersection, bah! It will not ruin my day, I'll get out her driver, inside my home i quickly opened my cherished adult....toy but what was this? A docking station? I had to revisit the ppicture i had dtooled over, thinking the behemoth controller was one unit, but alas, two pieces of hardware....for the same price! Then once i plugged it in yo my pc it became the bluetooth contact relay, no lag plus the best way to store when not in use I humbly stand corrected,

Perfect alternative to the pro controller. This is the controller you need if you can't drop $80 for the Pro controller. It has the perfect weight to it. It's also wireless, has rumble, and motion controls. The overall quality is on point and the charger is top tier. I have mine plugged into the dock and the wireless dongle is hidden inside of the charger. It's perfect for the Switch2.

This Controller as are all 8bitdo controllers is super nice; the size is perfect the buttons are reactive and it connects to my windows pc and android tablet through Bluetooth very easily and fast. I also like the charging dock which has a small compartment to store the 2.4 gz connection adapter if I need it. Seems sturdy will last a long-time great controller.

Is a really good controller for the Nintendo switch two. Extremely easy to connect and fairly self-explanatory.

Negative first: The only wish-list item I would have, is if they could include NFC Support for amiibo. Not a dealbreaker though What a great Switch2 pro controller! Programmable Macro Buttons make shiny-hunting in Pokémon Legends Z-A so much easier! The updated Firmware includes a Shake-to-Wake function for waking up the Switch2. The included charging dock looks so smooth with it. Being able to switch the triggers from hair-trigger mode to a hall-effect trigger is game-changing! It is hard to know where to start praising this controller. This is definitely my new favorite controller.

I play a lot of games on PC and after buying a controller for PC games with back paddles i got a little addicted to the ease of using them. I just had to get one for my switch as well. The controller plays excellently on the switch and the extra buttons are a huge plus. I also very much enjoy the ability to dock it. Big improvement over the Pro Controller. Get yourself an 8bitdo travel case and taking it on the go is a breeze.

I bought this controller to use docked because Joy-Cons just aren’t comfortable for longer gaming sessions. This was immediately a night-and-day difference. The controller feels solid and well-built, with a comfortable grip that works great for adult hands. The analog sticks are smooth and responsive, and the buttons have a satisfying, quiet click. I’ve used it for longer play sessions without hand fatigue. Battery life is excellent — I only have to charge it occasionally even with regular use. Pairing with the Switch was quick and painless, and connection has been rock-solid with no drops or lag. Only minor downside: it’s more expensive than third-party controllers, but the quality and reliability make it worth it. If you play docked often or want a more traditional controller feel, this is absolutely worth picking up

I purchased this controller expecting it to perform like my Aimlabs gamesir 8k or my razor wolverine v3 tournament edition but for the Nintendo switch. Sadly it’s just alright compared to those. I only use it for my switch 2 and not my pc simply because the input delay is so bad. The input delay compared to an 8k controller is god awful I wouldn’t attempt playing any competitive games. The gyro is alright but nothing compared to the switch 2 pro controller. Overall I just wish the L4 and R4 buttons were shaped more like the razor wolverine and it had tension rings on the joysticks and better latency.

*Works flawlessly on PC too! Genuinely better and easier connectivity than official Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo controllers. I’ve owned both this and the pro controller, and overall I gotta say this one is overall better. The pro controller does have nice softer feeling material and buttons, but this one has much better pretty much everything else. Especially the back buttons and extra triggers. In addition, the charging bank and adjustable joystick lights are super nice. It feels very similar to an Xbox controller, however I feel like the triggers and joysticks are designed a lot better and feel a lot nicer to use/hold.

A bit smaller than the Ultimate 1, after getting used to the size I don't mind it. The extra buttons seem unnecessary, but I guess are neat to have it you want them. The lights around the joy sticks seems gimmicky, but are easy to turn off. The new triggers and D-pad are nice so far, I hope they hold up. The original Ultimate triggers and D-pad died in less than a year which is why I replaced it with this controller. Playing mostly Rocket League on the PC.

This is a good controller. Built well, good features and most importantly it’s compatible with Switch 2 and PC. And so if you have a pc you game on and a switch two you can’t really go wrong with this. The only two things I dislike: 1. The haptic motors are pretty weak 2. The usb c wireless dongle is really thick and sticks out kinda ugly

8bitdo's Ultimate 2 Controller is one of the best wireless gaming controllers made. Battery is much better than the PS5 controller and the dock is convenient for pickup and play. I own four of these and they all work perfectly.

Works well with Switch 2. Tricky to setup but once setup. Works fine at waking switch 2 by shaking.

Build quality feels good and it feels great in the hands. Love how nice it slips into the charging cradle. Button feel and response are also great.

Long story short, I caved and bought a switch 2. Hated the controller it comes with to connect the joycons (its awkward), ended buying and returning 3 separate sets of 3rd party controllers until FINALLY settling on this one that has all the features I was looking for. It rumbles as it should, has the pretty lights, love the charging doc option, and always connects flawlessly to the switch

I got this as a upgrade to the original ultimate controller. I would say that it is infact a solid upgrade to the previous gen controller. I use it for both my switch 2 and my pc and it works flawlessly on both. Set up was instant on both. Pair it like any other controller on switch once you have it in bluetooth mode, and if you plug into your pc with the 2.4ghz dongle inserted into the bottom of the dock you can just dock it and once you are in the 2.4 ghz mode it pairs instantly. :)
