This controller has been used with a Nintendo switch 1. I am pleased with its quality and value. Pros: It has a quick snappy response with good ergonomics. Pairing the controller to the console was quick and easy. The included thumb sticks grips and high quality charging cable were a pleasant surprise. It is great to use in game. The color scheme and translucent plastic also look great. Battery life is great. Cons: My only complaint is the shake to wake feature. This would be a 5 out of 5 controller if I didn't have to repeatably attempt to shake to wake the controller multiple times before just giving up and getting up to manually turn on the console. The controller can wake the console on the off chance that I shake it just right. I would really prefer something more consistent like a pressing and holding a button to wake the console. For the money: I really can't complain. The physical quality of the buttons and hall effect thumb sticks are outstanding. The responsiveness of the controls are great. I would get gladly this controller again.

Awesome controller for Switch 2 and Switch. It is an amazing price for the quality. The joy sticks feel amazing and are Hall effect so they do not drift. It has extra mappable buttons. 8bitdo provides firmware updates when needed. This is a good alternative if you’re looking for a pro controller for Switch but can’t afford the more expensive options.

For $30 this is an utter steal. The controller itself feels snappy and sleek. If you have never used a hall effect controller before, they are way nicer than you think. Beyond lasting practically forever, they straight up just feel better than the disposable garbage a lot of first party companies shell out. I struggle to go back to a lot of them now just for that. The build quality feels generally very good (again, especially for the price). I'm a really big fan of this specific color scheme in specific as well. It looks even better in person in a way that is hard to quantify. I don't have a particular opinion on the battery life. It's somewhat worse than the 8bitdo Ultimate 2C Wireless (NOT Bluetooth) I have, which is weird because they are the same model and use the same battery? I'll chalk it to the lottery of it all I guess. My other one is VERY impressive and this one is just kind of good, I guess. Hopfully to disambiguate, also: This controller CAN connect to the Switch and Switch 2. There is quite a bit of confusion between the 2C Wireless and the 2C Bluetooth.

This controller is a great budget and it plays and works perfectly well for Minecraft or any game you like. I will definitely buy this.

I picked up the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Bluetooth Wireless gaming controller for my nephew, as he just received a brand new Nintendo Switch 2 console for his birthday. After charging up this controller, using the included USB-C cable, it was easily connected to the Switch 2 console via Bluetooth. I really like how the controller feels in my hands, and it is very responsive. I didn't notice any lag between the time I hit a button and the time the action occurred on screen. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

This controller is a great alternative to the Switch 2 pro controller. It beats it on price by half. The hall effect joysticks should be standard on any controller! The transparent black looks really cool. I also like that it comes with thumbstick covers. I like them, but the pattern/color may not be for everyone. I put covers on all my controllers so having some included was a welcome surprise. The feel of the controller is not quite as nice as the Pro 2 controller, but is a great alternative for anyone who wants a solid controller at a great price.

Perfectly fits into my aesthetic, and just feels right in your hands. Buttons and triggers provide good feedback, that makes this controller your go-to for gaming. It’s easy to connect to any system with bluetooth. If I had to sum up my thoughts on this controller in one word, it would be “professional”, and at half the cost of a controller from any first party company.

It works perfectly on the Switch 2. The extra buttons you can map are nice to have, and 8bitdo is great about keeping the software updated. Connects quicker and more reliable than other cheaper alternatives. If you want a Pro Controller but are on a budget, get this one.

"Great controller with excellent features" "I’m really impressed with this product. The build quality is solid and it feels great to use. A big plus is the rumble feature, which adds a lot to the gaming experience. I also really appreciate the customizable buttons, which make it easy to tailor the controls to my play style. Highly recommended!"

controller is great but the ranges on this controller is very spotty. Sometimes it'll register perfectly while other times the connection is pretty weird and causes some of the movements I do with it to drift. Very good gyro controller for the price but I would want some fixes through driver updates and some further PC support for better configuration on the L4/R4 buttons and the xinput mode that's on the wireless version. -1 star for those reasons. Would recommend for anyone that doesn't mind messing with some settings to get this to run flawlessly despite lack of support

Ultimate 2C Bluetooth, Ultimate 2 Bluetooth, Ultimate 2 Wireless... There is not one "Ultimate 2" controller. I wanted a controller that was compatible with the Nintendo Switch AND was able to have it's buttons re-mappable by the "8BitDo Ultimate software". I did a fair amount of research but not enough. The "2C" controller's buttons cannot be re-mapped. You need the "Ultimate 2 Bluetooth" for that. Do not buy the "Ultimate 2 Wireless" if you want a controller compatible with your Nintendo Switch. You need the "Bluetooth" version. - This controller is well made, great feeling buttons and sticks. Really nice color, I would have kept it if the buttons were re-mappable.

For the price, the controller is good quality. A nice touch is the addition of decorated joystick covers. The turbo and auto turbo functions are working fine and easy to set while playing. The additional L4/R4 buttons are a good option to make 2-button combos for fighting games but not tested yet. Overall my son is happy with this controller.

I find myself using this just as much as my pro controller for the switch 2. It’s very cool looking too and honestly has better rumble than the official Nintendo one.
