It's a really, really great controller for PC and android.
2.4 hz dongle works perfectly with my laptop.
Especially for its price - 30$ - it's a must-have.
Low latency, Hall effect joysticks, light weight.
In some ways, it's better than my $120 MS Xbox elite controller - no connection problems, and it really feels more comfy in my hands. It's my main controller now.

Bought this exclusively to play Minecraft on my new Samsung tablet, works well and I live the color. I like how light it is and am seriously looking into buying a wireless version. Great value and gets the job done. Just don't expect console level heft and durability for the price.

For the price, it's easily the best controller I've ever handled. While I typically prefer the analog stick being in the lower position, with the D-pad being in the upward position (like how the PlayStation dualshock/dualsense does it), for the price, the quality of the buttons and sticks, and overall feel of the plastic, this is such a solid buy.

The controller is both cute and functional. Its soft and colorful styles make it stand out and add personality to my setup. The buttons are super responsive, making gameplay smooth and easy to control.

I'm giving this product a low review and I'll describe why:
1. The extra buttons on top and the "Switch-style" system buttons are a gimmick. The star is for assigning a button "turbo mode" whatever the heck that is, I don't know. The square button is for remapping, which you can't really do. I think 8bitDo just recycles the same shell and design for all of their models.
2. 8bitDo's marketing/naming convention is confusing. This model is "Wireless" the other model is "Bluetooth", but both are Bluetooth controllers...? The Bluetooth model is Nintendo Switch compatible, but the Wireless model has Switch-style system buttons.
Pros:
1. The buttons feel great. They put clicky bumpers on instead of silicone switches, which is very satisfying.
2. Simple and easy to use for just a regular wireless controller for PC or android. Works with 2.4G dongle and Bluetooth.
3. Has "Xbox-style" button layout. This style of button layout feels natural and intuitive. The Nintendo layout always has me second-guessing no matter how long I've been playing.
4. I have medium-sized hands, and the remote fits my hands perfectly. My finger span (tip of pinky to tip of thumb spread wide apart) is 8.5 inches.
5. Great price for a simple controller and uses USB-C for charging or connecting.
Summary:
I don't recommend getting this remote unless you specifically want the 2.4G dongle. I'll be upgrading to the 8bitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth because the buttons on that one can allegedly be re-mapped (to Xbox style is my goal) AND it connects to Bluetooth, 2.4G (see the confusion?), and wired AND can be used with the Switch.

At $60, this controller would be well worth it. At MSRP of $29.99, it's basically a steal. It's much lighter than my Nintendo Pro Controller but feels objectively better in build quality. The back is slightly rough and feels good to grip, and the buttons are punchy. I specifically bought this to use for PC gaming and prefer 2.4G over Bluetooth.

Seen this on sale around Black Friday for $18 so i picked it up to replace my wife's Xbox (for PC) controller that had been drifting. I got the peach color and it has a very high quality look and feel to it. It's comfortable to hold and the buttons feel great to press. Immediately after opening it I followed the instructions and updated the firmware and haven't had a single problem with it. It connected immediately to my wife's pc and worked with steam as soon as i launched it. It turns on with a single button press and turns off when the pc turns off. I would recommend this controller to a friend and I've decided to get one for myself as well. It's a great deal even at regular price

I have a number of 8bitdo controllers. I've been very happy with them. This is my second of the 2C Wired, and that's after getting two of the original Ultimate C Wired pads, so it's only natural to compare them. With the 2C you get some additional buttons and the welcome upgrade to a removable cable as opposed to the hardwired cable in the original C pads. The ergonomics and button feel of this pad are excellent in my view.
The controllers feel comfortable to hold and use. The buttons have the kind of feel and feedback that I like. Of course, as noted in the product description, the 2C has Hall-effect analog sticks. The 2C has what I consider to be an improved D-pad over the previous model. It reminds me of 8bitdo's older SN30 Pro+ controller which has one of my favorite D-pads. The Ultimate 2C wired has a D-pad with the same feel and I consider it to be an excellent D-pad. It's very accurate and consistent, at least the way I play. I was thrilled to find they upgraded the D-pad.
One negative is that the textured back of the controllers attracts dirt more than smooth controllers, so these pads will require more cleaning for those who want to keep them looking nice. To me, that's a minor problem. I am very happy with these controllers. As long as you don't need wireless functionality, or a layout with the D-pad at the upper left, then these are very good. At their price point, they're a fantastic value too.

Very easy to connect and use , no problems through continuous use. Long battery life as well. Would highly recommend. Should be the number one choice for PC gaming with a controller .

I hooked this up to my PC with the USB dongle, no problem. It's got solid-feeling sticks. It has a clicky d-pad which could put some people off, not a problem for me though. It has three shoulder buttons that can be mapped to anything, including keyboard shortcuts. I was surprised that it had vibrate for the price. I am not sure I could ask for anything else given it was $25 when I got it. My PC is in my basement and it is connected to my TV in the living room. Using 2.4 GHz, it disconnected frequently. I was expecting it to do that. I have not tried the Bluetooth connection yet.

This controller has great feeling sticks and triggers. The sticks are hall effect so they will never drift. The buttons have a solid feeling. All inputs provide solid feedback. The detachable cable is helpful for storage or if the included cable ever fails. The controller was recognized immediately by my PC but there is a guide to connect if not auto-detected. One small negative is that the hand grips are smaller than an Xbox controller and may feel unsubstantial if accustomed to an Xbox controller. After using the controller for a while, the shape felt quite natural.

Amazing controller, Theres 3 ways to connect it via dongle, USB C Cable (included in the box) and bluetooth. Very tactile and mushy clicks the Joystick is pretty smooth and no stick drifts since its got Hall effects.

Controller is really quite good, especially for the price. Easy to grip, nice button and trigger feel, and the included pc adaper makes for an extra solid low latency connection. If you want an extra controller, I recommend this option.

Great value controller for the price. In use with my laptop where cord length isnt a factor. Solid response and feel. Would buy again and again if needed.

Build very well. Can't download the software from 8bitdo website. Window 11 is blocking it because the source is coming from China. So i cant do a firmware update on this controller. Im really disappointed. I thought this is a US company.

I have been using a play station 1 wired controller for pc games since the late 90s. Hopefully this one lasts as long! Love how smooth the controls are and I didn't need a extra adapter to plug it in.
