This controller has been great for everyday use. The build quality feels solid and the buttons have a clean and responsive feel. The sticks are smooth and the overall shape is comfortable for longer sessions. Wireless performance has been stable with no random disconnects or input issues. Battery life has also been strong and it charges quickly when needed. For the price, it is a reliable controller that works well across different games and platforms.

Genuinely pleased with how well it functions! I bought it because my previous controller for PC gaming started to drift badly. Controls are smooth and I have the option of USB-A wired and wireless connection. On top of that, it’s a great size and the colors are pretty!

Definitely the best controller I’ve purchased in a long time. Great value, great color choices, and the joysticks are also “hall effect” joysticks, which basically means they use magnets to prevent stick drift. Not even the Switch 1 & 2 Pro Controllers have that! Having hall effect joysticks for a $30 controller is incredible value. Haven’t had any issue with it thus far, so easy 5 stars.

8Bitdo are making awesome controllers at awesome prices! This is the controller to get if you need a very good one with excellent support and functionality on a windows device. The dongle is helpful as well to ensure a good consistent connection. Can also be used in wired mode!

It's a really, really great controller for PC and android. 2.4 hz dongle works perfectly with my laptop. Especially for its price - 30$ - it's a must-have. Low latency, Hall effect joysticks, light weight. In some ways, it's better than my $120 MS Xbox elite controller - no connection problems, and it really feels more comfy in my hands. It's my main controller now.

Mainly used with Rasberry Pi 5 with 2.4Ghz usb adapter, works great.

For the price, it's easily the best controller I've ever handled. While I typically prefer the analog stick being in the lower position, with the D-pad being in the upward position (like how the PlayStation dualshock/dualsense does it), for the price, the quality of the buttons and sticks, and overall feel of the plastic, this is such a solid buy.

I'm giving this product a low review and I'll describe why: 1. The extra buttons on top and the "Switch-style" system buttons are a gimmick. The star is for assigning a button "turbo mode" whatever the heck that is, I don't know. The square button is for remapping, which you can't really do. I think 8bitDo just recycles the same shell and design for all of their models. 2. 8bitDo's marketing/naming convention is confusing. This model is "Wireless" the other model is "Bluetooth", but both are Bluetooth controllers...? The Bluetooth model is Nintendo Switch compatible, but the Wireless model has Switch-style system buttons. Pros: 1. The buttons feel great. They put clicky bumpers on instead of silicone switches, which is very satisfying. 2. Simple and easy to use for just a regular wireless controller for PC or android. Works with 2.4G dongle and Bluetooth. 3. Has "Xbox-style" button layout. This style of button layout feels natural and intuitive. The Nintendo layout always has me second-guessing no matter how long I've been playing. 4. I have medium-sized hands, and the remote fits my hands perfectly. My finger span (tip of pinky to tip of thumb spread wide apart) is 8.5 inches. 5. Great price for a simple controller and uses USB-C for charging or connecting. Summary: I don't recommend getting this remote unless you specifically want the 2.4G dongle. I'll be upgrading to the 8bitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth because the buttons on that one can allegedly be re-mapped (to Xbox style is my goal) AND it connects to Bluetooth, 2.4G (see the confusion?), and wired AND can be used with the Switch.

Best item for the price, my kids are loving it....

Works with both my Steam Deck (BlueTooth or docked with USB dongle) and PC (no BlueTooth chip; USB dongle only) with no issues. Compared to first-party controllers, this one feels like a bit of a steal for the quality. L4 and R4 buttons don't appear to map to any input automatically thru Steam Input, but there are guides out there to add some functionality to them. The stick deadzones also feel very slightly larger from my previous Xbox Series X controller, but this can be accounted for using in-game settings.

For what its worth this remote feels super good, it connects to my pc real fast and battery lasts a good minute, i also got this in like 2 days after ordering it with no problems! Also i love the color scheme it pops out alot

I love the colorways that the 8bitdo ultimate 2c controllers have! While the price of this controller is very low, the quality surpasses a lot of more expensive controllers. I've had it for about 4 months now, I've used it on two different PCs and on my phone, and it's been very seamless every time. My only note is that the buttons are very clicky! I love how tactile they are, but if you need your controller to be quiet and more mushy like the DS5 controller, this one may not be for you.

This is my second 8BitDo controller. This one is even better than the first, as My first is a older model. Very light weight, and all the buttons and d-pad work great. The hall effect joysticks feel great and feel more reactive. Bumpers and triggers give good response as well. Soild controller, easily my new go to for gaming.

Pretty good! Everything was really easy to set up. All I had to do was plug in the dongle into my PC and I was able to play with the controller right away. I also connected it to my phone as easily by flipping the little switch on the back of the controller to switch it from dongle connection to bluetooth. Also this controller has gyro controls, so if you like that in your controller, there you have it! Overall really good feel in the hands and fast response.

Great quality for a great price. The color is great too. I have an 8bitdo ultimate 2 as well and this feels the same with the exception of fewer buttons, no led rings, and no dock. I'd definitely purchase another.

Seen this on sale around Black Friday for $18 so i picked it up to replace my wife's Xbox (for PC) controller that had been drifting. I got the peach color and it has a very high quality look and feel to it. It's comfortable to hold and the buttons feel great to press. Immediately after opening it I followed the instructions and updated the firmware and haven't had a single problem with it. It connected immediately to my wife's pc and worked with steam as soon as i launched it. It turns on with a single button press and turns off when the pc turns off. I would recommend this controller to a friend and I've decided to get one for myself as well. It's a great deal even at regular price

It feels comfortable in my hands and it looks nice. I kind of wish the thumbsticks were a tad shorter but I got used to it rather quickly. I also wish the usb receiver was shorter and that you could store it somewhere inside the gamepad. I also kind of wish the left thumbstick and D-Pad swapped positions so the gamepad was more symmetrical. The left thumbstick feels too close to the LB button. But these are all just personal preferences and I really like the gamepad a lot. It feels very well made and I adapted to it quickly. I definitely recommend it even with my personal preferences.

My 8 year old loves it. The usb connector looks like blocks for my minecraft fan. Fits perfect in his hand and no connectivity issues so far.

This controller was the first third party controller I have ever owned, and it did not dissapoint. The price is a remarkable deal for what you recieve. The connection is superb, joysticks are hall effect, the d-pad is great for metroidvania games and such, everything about this controller is great to me. Is there better out there? Most likely. I personally picked this controller up to see for myself the quality of 8-Bitdo's products, and after a week of use, I purchased the Ultimate 2. I highly recommend purchasing from 8-Bitdo, whether you're on a budget or want a premium controller.
