    Solid Album (3.5/5)

The fact that Wu-Tang have stayed relative in the game this long makes them undeniably one of the most essential groups in hip-hop history and though younger listeners may not appreciate their body of music their influence is obvious. This is a solid album. It is not as hard hitting or gritty as their previous releases and some of the verses are not up to par with what we are used to hearing. This album is definitely a departure for the clan, favoring a more gentle edge as oppose to the straight-out-of-the-gutter sound that the group is known for. This is a must-listen for all fans of the clan and all hip-hop fans in general, though it may not leave as lasting an impression as their previous album, 8 Diagrams. A Better Tomorrow is still worthy of some praise for its experimentation and does not disappoint.

I was a bit skeptical of this release, having been told it would be out in 2013. And while certainly not up to the standards of the first two albums, it certainly isn't as bad as Iron Flag. Some of the tracks are amazingly produced with changes in the tracks to cater to each MCs style, but some of the later tracks in particular are a bit weak.

    Throwbacks and Looks Forward

This highly anticipated album really got me, right from the beginning. Referencing their patent sound, with the addition of classic R & B sounds, intelligent lyrics, and proof of progression and maturity only added to the things I've expected from Wu Tang, as I've grown in years, right along side them. Definitely worthy of your attention.

After a long hiatus anticipation was quite high for this album. I was a bit shocked by the lack of publicity leading up to the release date, surely an influential group such as the Wu would generate some buzz... After a long layoff I expected and hoped for a cohesive and focused album. I was not expecting forever or the 36 chambers because there has been much growth and evolution since those times. There are a couple solid tracks but more missteps overall. A collector's item if you a Wu fan like myself, but it's definitely not a representation of the groups best work.

This was definitely a highly anticipated release and it lives up to most of the hype. Great to hear the "collective" CLAN together possibly for the last time. More hit than miss...Check out 36 Seasons/Ghostface.

It's an overall okay project, good enough to call it a comeback, some good stuff. But if you support the W then it should be in your collection still.

Great album overall. You can't go in expecting 36 Chambers. It is a satisfying end to their group career. Well done!

Some high points but just not what this album should of bveen. They should of gone out on top with some classic music but it just sounds kind of forced and not cohesive. i'll always love them but......

It would be impossible to recapture the magic of Enter the 36 Chambers, though we all hope that's what their striving for with every new release. The press that surrounded the release of this album wasn't great, but press is press and the Wu, just like this album, remain relevant.

The typical sharp tongue lyricism we've come to expect from the Shaolin crew, however the beat selections are a bit questionable and the featured guest vocalist are atrocious.

Good cd, been awhile since wu tang has been all together for a full length lp, it's a good listen. I think the negative reviews want a lp like 36 chambers and there will never be another like it.

If you are a fan of Wu-Tang, you already bought this album. If you are not, buy this album. It's been a long time, but well worth the wait. All 36 chambers are present and accounted for!
