A classic animated movie form Pixar with a stellar voice cast. Price is a little high for when it was released.

A Bug's Life is one hour and thirty - four minutes and was released in theaters on November 25, 1998. Basically the main story is that Flik, an ant, leaves the island home of the ant colony to find warrior insects to fight off the grasshoppers who demand food from the ants each spring. What Flik brings back are circus insects and the circus insects think that they have been hired to perform. In the end it all works out for everyone. This would be the last movie for Roddy McDowall and Madeline Kahn. A Bug's Life is good family movie and gets an AAA+++.

This is Pixar’s second release(Toy Story was there first), this is also the first time A Bug’s Life is being released on UHD 4K and it is a beauty. There is no question that the increase in resolution and the addition of HDR makes this the best it’s ever looked. Also the disc features a very nice Dolby Atmos track which sounds great with the height speakers. It also includes a standard blu ray and digital code. Highly Recommended!!!!!

Belongs right up there with any of the best Pixar movies. The voice acting is perfect throughout and you really root for the protagonist, Flik (voiced by Dave Foley). He's an intellectual misfit with big ideas and a big heart, but his best intentions often blow up in his face. It's an incredible adventure for kids and adults alike, and one we watch again and again in our family.

The old pizza movies don't get old. Fantastic movie with great animation.

I love these new steel books that are coming out with an artistic style cover. Been trying to collect them all, but only have so much money Who doest like seeing the world from the perspective of a bug. Going from country style living to the bustling city. I would also say this story reflect that of 7 Samurai. Where that plot has been used over and over again and I love it.

One of Pixar's earliest films, but still a really good one!

This steel book set includes the 4k, bluray and a digital code for the movie. The bluray has the special features included as well as on the Movies Anywhere streaming service. The digital also syncs to VUDU but without the special features. This was a replacement for an old DVD copy. Played side by side the differences in clarity and color are amazing!!

This is a really great pixar movie that's never really brought up in pixar conversations The 4K transfer on this movie is superb as well as the sound Outside of its technical prowess the movie itself is very well written and the story is great not to mention the voice acting reigns in the best of pixar A Must for any Pixar fan

I only watched this movie once fully a long time ago when I was a kid. I remember it being a very good movie. I’m 27 now and I collect certain movies In steelbook edition which I think are worth having. Going it be fun watching A Bugs Life again! Nice green glossy steelbook. Overall can’t really go wrong with Pixar movies even if you’re an adult

This movie doesn't get the credit it deserves. A take on the Ant and the Grasshopper story with great characters. The 4K upgrade on this title is very noticeable. The HDR color grade gives the image a great pop and the increased texture detail is very nice. The steel book has terrific art that matches all these new releases.

Recently returned from a DisneyWorld family vacation. My youngest daughter had never seen this movie and did not understand the correlation to an attraction at one of the parks. So after returning home from vacation, my daughter was on a mission to see all of the Disney movies that she had never seen. Mission accomplished! Thanks Best Buy for having this in the store!

The artwork on this latest batch of Pixar steels is every bit as beautiful as the films themselves. They truly saved some of the best for last. Vibrant colors, rich detail, and it tells you everything you need to know about the film just by looking at it. Any Pixar fan needs this on their shelf!

Another great Pixar film. Like Toy Story the animation is a little crude by todays standards but thats the way it was back then. Looks great on 4KUHD. The colors pop, the clarity is really impressive. I was surprised at how well this sounded. Highly recommended.

I picked this up in store and it was damaged, but it was the only one in store and it was unavailable at the time online. Now it’s back in stock. I don’t mind the damage too much though. The case still works.

Normally I upgrade to 4K for both picture and sound but this one really excels in the latter. The animation was already vibrant with the previous Blu-ray release and the 4K is an upgrade. For me, the selling point was the immersive Atmos soundtrack that was upgraded. Worth it!

A must for any collection, Bugs Life is one of the cutest, and best written original animation stories to come out of Pixar. I saw it in the theater with my kids, bought it on DVD...then blue ray, and now finally in 4k HDR blue ray to now share with the grandkids.

Due to A Bug's Life being one of Pixar's first films it is often one of the most underrated and forgotten. This great movie teaches it's younger audience the simple theme of sticking up for yourself while listening to others. It might just be the nostalgia from when I watched this as a kid but I believe it is a great movie for all ages.

I don't buy many Pixar movies like I used to but this one was always one of my favs. My kids loved it too. Had DVD for longest time (quality was less of course) then I saw blu-ray version on Disney and had to own a copy.
