Found this in the "discount" bin at the local store while looking at replacements for our TV. It's a great musical! I was surprised at how "grainy" the picture appeared relative to other Blu-Ray content I've viewed. However, after watching other "dated" Blu-Ray content and doing a little research, I realized I need to lower my expectations when viewing movies filmed 30+ years ago versus those more "recently" filmed.

“One singular sensation!” All you really need from this blu-ray is that song, but might as well enjoy the rest of the show while you’re at it!

I had this DVD years ago and just replaced it. Just as enjoyable as the first time viewing it. Having seen the original Broadway show, I was at first, skeptical, but definitely not disappointed. Music keeps you going. Michael Douglas great as usual. The movie gives you an idea how shows are put together and the ups and downs of the cast members competing for the parts offered. The finale song, "One" is just as great as the Broadway show. A lot of critics panned the DVD, but I feel that possibly the critics don't like musicals and probably just dramas, thus giving this movie a low rating. You won't be disappointed watching this movie. Enjoy!

Enjoyed it, never saw the play tho. Great numbers, memorable characters. The final number was right before credits and continued thru them.

A Chorus Line finally arrives on blu ray, and thank god it got a true ly filmic transfer. I have been waiting for this to be released on blu ray for a long time now, and was worried that it might not get a faithful transfer, but to my delight it is a very good transfer and doesn't have all of that digial tweekness going on such as false edge enhancements or DNR. It looks very much like a FILM transferred from a really clean film print.

Great movie! I saw the original movie when it was released in 1985, and it has always been one of my favorite. Therefore, I was very pleased when I discovered that it was available on Blu-ray. The quality is excellent, and now I can watch the movie whenever I want to see it!

I've looked for A Chorus Line years. First when it was a video. This time I was looking for a DVD. Found it in a couple of places but Best Buy is my location of choice. I loved watching it again after so many years. It was such a pleasure. I was a dancer of a different sort and love watching choreography and music. Thank you for such bliss.
