It’s an ok version. The acting is overly emotive but it’s better than some

This story line may have all the similarities of "A Christmas Carol" but in the end there's a different

Captain Picard is still way too visible in this

Hard to accept Patrick Stewart as Scrooge without a change in his appearance from Jean Luc Picard....he needed whiskers or a wig. This version attempts to do things others ones did not....very little snow...darker but more realistic lighting...and better supporting performance from children and secondary acting. The scene where Belle releases Scrooge from their promise was very well done. Its hard to accept a newer version of a story on film once you like one before it. I like George C Scotts verson better but this one was not bad.
