Excellent must-have Christmas movie for your holiday collection. Full of nostalgia and never gets old. Really helps get you in the Christmas spirit and it's nice to be able to watch it anytime you want instead of having to wait for it to come on television. Can't beat the price either.

My young family and I watched this movie for the first time this year. My 8yo son understands and appreciates sarcasm so this was a big hit with him! I suggested that for this year’s Christmas dinner instead of cooking we go to a Chinese restaurant instead in honor of the movie. :D

I bought this for a coworker who is Chinese. I wanted to know if she found the final scene offensive. She said she did not, probably because I set her up for it. She said that it was more offensive that the mother tells the child “there are starving children in China”. She said that she tells her Daughter, “There are starving children in Africa”.

Another Christmas classic for my generation time era. I will always appreciate this movie, especially the ending with the heavy snow at night time outside the house with the Christmas lights on. Beautiful shot. I am going to get my brother the socks for this movie for Christmas.

I purchased this for a relative as it is her favor X-Mas movie so I thought she would love it on blu-ray. I still haven't watched it yet myself but it is a classic for many.

I know there are a lot of us that love this movie. Also, it's all over the TV networks around Christmas day, but why watch it edited and with tons of commercials when you can get a great quality HD version without streaming and no editing. Excellent buy for the price! If you a a huge fan of this movie, you cannot go wrong with this purchase! No regrets.

Instant classic. This movie comes out every year during the holidays. It will never get old and if you haven't seen it, I'll buy it for you. It's easily in the top 5 all-time Christmas movies ever made.

The movie itself is great, the problem is the Blu ray features. It is really bare bones, and the Blu ray Menu is awful. I cannot recommend this blu ray to any hardcore fans unless you cannot find a better copy out there.

I've loved this movie since it was released on videotape, and my children were both raised on it for the Christmas season. So, I purchased this as a gift for my daughter who is away in college. So, next Christmas season, before coming home to celebrate with us, she'll have a part of her childhood memories of Christmas to enjoy leading up to Christmas.

This is a holiday favorite at our house. We watch it every year, never gets old. I bought this to replace the old dvd copy. Happy it's still in my collection!

This Dvd is a little more special displaying in a beautiful tin can. Great for a Christmas gift. However it can be purchased elsewhere for half the price but wrapped up in the typical plastic. We really enjoyed the charm of this movie as well.

This is essentially a story about childhood and is very spot-on in regards to the yearning of children and the whole Christmas era - I've been watching it since I was a child and every Christmas when it comes on TV I watch it again. It's funny, poignant and totally memorable - it has some of the best scenes of all-time, most people I know love it.

A Christmas Story is a wonderful classic that everyone should see every year. It takes the older generations back to the day when this family life was very real. It will make other generations laugh and cry along with the characters, This is a movie no one should miss. Buy it, you will not be disappointed!

I saw this movie with a special price here in BestBuy.com and decided to buy it to have it on my own Christmas collection. I love it! If you haven't seen it, and you like to watch Christmas movies on the holiday season, you won't regret to buy this movie.

still hilarious every time you watch it. the video transfer to bluray is great. picture if bright and sharp. the audio is still mono, which sucks, but if you have a sound system just put it in all channel stereo and it will sound good.

Classic christmas movie for every family. This is a must have film for every family. The price was great in this movie and it looks great in blu ray! Hopefully they will do a 4K transfer of this movie but for now the blu ray is great.

This movie is amazing as I am sure everyone out there knows. I just couldn't believe I got it so cheap. I have been looking over the years and have found the price to be around $30 for a normal DVD so when I found it for $6.99 I had to buy it. Now my husband and I can watch the DVD every year instead of on TV.

This is a Christmas staple. Every year we have to watch this movie. This year we decided to purchase the DVD so we would not have to hunt it down of television. It is an odd story, but I love it's off beat storyline that is not your typical magical Christmas story. It is a slice of real life during the holiday season, well back in the 80's.

We lost this movie so I had to buy it again. This Movie is a tradition in my family we watch it every Christmas. Grandparents and Grandchildren we all love this movie. Full of nostalgia for some and plenty of laughs for all. If you haven't seen this Movie you are missing out on a great classic.
