What had movie,very interesting mo vie, husband liked!

A Cure For Wellness was very enjoyable, i loved the twists.

Director and writer Gore Verbinski ("Pirates of the Caribbean") created a haunting, beautifully shot film in "A Cure for Wellness." A psychological horror film, it draws you in from the very first image and then traps you for the remainder of the 2 hour 26 minute run time. Fans of the Batman: Arkham games will find a lot to enjoy about this film as it breeds a similar feeling of terror set amidst a mystery explored in a nightmarish background. The acting in this film is decent, with Dane DeHaan treading a fine line between hard-to-like Wall Street fraud and terror-struck protagonist; the plot is a little predictable, but the overall feel created is worth staying around for the entire film...as if you have a choice. Muahahaha. What this release could have used was more extras. Yes, there are some: a few very short deleted scenes, a vignette about the musical score, and some appropriately creepy meditation shorts. But there is so much more they could have included. A documentary on the shooting locations would have been ideal. The number of articles out there talking about just that aspect of the film is a pretty decent indication of how important a role the settings play in the film. It definitely feels like a huge missed opportunity for an informative, worthwhile extra.

My wife bought this movie and she really liked it.

The premise of this movie sounded good and it started off pretty well. However the story line went no where for a good part of the movie. The movie was way too long for what it was. There were some highlights but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch this.

I believe that this movie is truly unappreciated. The concept, script and acting were spot o not to mention the look and feel of this film are incredible. Highly recommend..

this movie looks like a 4k movie it is stunning its bright and beautifully shot the story is good the plot twist is nice and its just a pretty good movie for 5$.

This is one strange flick. It is weird, funny, and creepy. Fox offers a nice selection of special features here as well as audio and picture quality.

This was a very interesting and engaging psychological thriller. Very much enjoyed and would definitely recommend watching at least once

It's just nice to see Gore Verbinski doing something else that doesn't involve Pirates. While this movie isn't a classic, it still has some nice gooey atmosphere to surrender yourself to.

Not for everyone but for those fans who enjoyed movies like Shutter Island, this will give them what they're looking for.

Kudos to Fox for putting a ton of money into this completely bizarre, non-mainstream horror movie. It's absolutely beautiful to look at and is filled with nightmarish imagery. It blows my mind this was a studio film in 2017. Don't let the run time scare you off; I found myself wrapped up in the story and before I knew it over two hours had gone by. Its box office performance tells me we're not going to see one like this again for a long time, and that's a shame.

For fans of Harry Potter movies and miss peregrines home for peculiar children it’s the same vibe and done beautifully

Movie started off strange but interesting, then to weird and ending was crazy.. made more sense watching a 2nd time through though. Would recommend if your into thrillers..

I found this movie to be good, odd, and little bit too long. Nonetheless, it has an interesting cast of strange characters who populate the castle. The movie is a gothic, a mystery, a suspense, and a horror film. The scary portions of the film, whether by drowning, burning, parasitism, or being in the dark will keep you on the edge of your seat. The Special Features are weak and offer little in the making of the film.

This movie was a great thinking film to add to my collection that both my wife and I agree on.

This movie is good enough, kind of slow but a good story. Most of the it occurs in a very old hospital in an old town. Nice enough to watch it again.
