The Re-Mastering on this release is very good. I think I noticed some levels raised on different parts here and there, as well, the overall sound is bolder and crisper. I think it really does add to the original release, which one should hang on to anyways. Great CD and the live CD of a full concert from the album's Tour is an incredible piece to have in it's entirety. Plus there a few covers from bands like Dream Theater among others. Highly recommended to the Rush Fan!

Here is one of the best albums by one of the best bands ever, including a bonus concert and extra tracks. Maybe the guy who wrote the liner notes could have skipped analyzing every note of every song, but you can't say he just skimmed the surface, that's for sure. Definitely check it out!

One of my favorite Bands of all time. I am such a big fan, have almost all their works, but love the live music best, something about a live RUSH concert. You leave wanting more and more. Great CD, a must for any RUSH fan.

The album sounds much better than the version I had from the 80's and the live concert is an excellent performance and the cover tracks are a nice touch. The Dream Theater cover of "Xanadu" is especially noteworthy.

A Farewell to Kings was the first RUSH album I purchased so, so many years ago as an LP. With all the bonus features, this is a no-brainer purchase for any RUSH fan.

Rush is an original prog band that has maintained relevance in an industry which is currently struggling. A dinosaur that has refused to die by evolving constantly. Rush is famous for the every 5th album will be live release theme, but they always sound great.

I remember this album from my teen years. Now it is available in this expanded form with live concert. Highly recommend the set. You get a lot for the price.

This is an amazing 3 CD set. Even if you have the original, you should own this.

The remaster is really good, and the complete live show from 1978 is FANTASTIC;!

Must have for any Rush fan. Good live tracks. Can,t believe its's been 40 years!

Most of the Hammersmith Odeon concert included in this release, was released on Different Stages which is the only reason this isn't 5 stars.

Not super into high fidelity or remasters. really just enjoy listening to their music even on digital format. Like the complete 1978 live concert mostly. cool booklet too
