    I remember seeing this movie back when it first came out and I 've been trying for a long time to find it on dvd. If you like military movies this is a good one to get. FYI it was filmed at Beale AFB in Ca.

    It's like a snapshot trip down memory lane. The toughness of SAC inspections, a snapshot of command and leadership, a brief mention of how the AF and SAC were growing people programs, and the affects on personal lives.

    Rock Hudson takes over a SAC base to bring it up to standard. Another good aviation movie.
