    If you like flying and ww2 warbirds,(P-38s) this movie is for you. Just remember that it was made during ww2 so some of the acting is somewhat corny, but still a good movie.

    Released at the height of WWII, the story of a dead aviator as a guardian angel to living pilots was very heartwarming to folks at home worried about their sons and daughters in combat. Also the love story between Spencer Tracy and Irene Dunne is particularly compelling as she struggles with the loss and he struggles to let go of something he can no longer have. Entertaining and thoughtful.
