Great Fun! Richard Lester's "documentary" approach to A Day in the Life of the Beatles at the height of Beatlemania is brilliant! Lots of humor and the musical sequences set the stage for the music videos that would be the mainstay of MTV 15 years later. Truly ahead of it's time. The storyline is light and the boys' personalities shine through

Better than I was anticipating. So great there is this kind of footage of them at that amazing time.

Realistic in 4k makes you feel better than when i watch it at the movies

This movie was made to show the beginnings of the phenomenon known as Beatlemania. Still relevant and funny when viewed through the prism of over fifty years ago. The film has been credited as being very influential for its technical details. For those of a certain age, tell your children and grandchildren to forget about it being in black and white and enjoy learning a little about how you grew up. Phil Collins has claimed to be in the audience for some of the songs.

I have been a Beatles fan since I was a kid in the late 60's and I have been a fan of Criterion's products going back to the Laser disc era so my review is probably not unbiased. With that in mind, I have been wanting to get this bluray since it came out and now that I have it I am not disappointed. Great movie, great music, great transfer and great bonuses.

There's no question that this is one of the best musical comedies of all time. The natural comedic timing between all four Beatles is effortless and genius. You can see the innocent, playful connection that occurred prior to The Beatles parting ways. This Criterion release is a great nod to this classic and it needs to be in your collection.

I bought this for my husband. He saw this at the movies when he was a kid and hadnt seen it since. He's been a fan of The Beatles since he first saw them on Ed Sullivan. Watching this movie made him realize how innocent funny was backnin the 60s compared to today. It isnt very funny but Id recommed it for Beatles collectors.

Being young or old, this movie is great for any Beatles fan. A fast moving movie with many comedy bits and musical parts, this movie helped to show the Beatle mania of the early 1960s

This 1st movie buy the Beatles is a must have for a real fan. In addition to their great original music, it shows they have more than just musical talent. A fun movie to watch.

I love the Beatles, and I love Criterion titles. If you're not a fan of either, you may not enjoy this. It is a very strange and silly film, however if you want to watch John, Paul, George and Ringo goof off for 80 minutes, you're in luck!

This DVD collection is top notch. Watching this DVD, you immediately remember why you love The Beatles so much. It includes DVD & Blu-ray as well as an additional DVD with lots of extras! Love it!!!!

The only thing that I didn't like about the movie was all of the screams, but duh, it was Beatlemania. Delivery came earlier than expected - came in good condition - recommend others to shop at Best Buy

I never get tired of watching this movies purchase a new copy whnever they come out with a new version

Fantastic film. Ahead of its time, really. And, being a Criterion release, the overall package is absolutely deluxe. A must-own.
