Good war movie for the period.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a black and white movie, made in England around 1956 with several very good actors. An English patrol made up of regular army and national guard are ordered to scout a village in Korea to see if it is occupied by the enemy. This is during the Korean War. The patrol gets cut off by Chinese soldiers and they retreat to an abandoned temple where they fight to survive. The actors include Stanley Baker, Robert Shaw and Michael Caine in his very first film appearance.
