A family member played this album for me recently, & was shocked to learn it was "Wayne Brady's" newest offering? I knew Wayne could sing, but I was amazed so many great cuts were on one album! Heard the first single "Ordinary" on the radio, but didn't realize it was him at the time. Purchased this album, & it's been in regular rotation play on my CD player ever since. Best cover of "Sam Cooke's" song I've ever heard, & I'm a "Die-hard" Sam fan from way back. It may have been "a long time coming" Wayne, but it was worth the wait. A fantastic sounding "R & B" album! But sadly I think it has been under promoted.

You know, R&B has really flatlined over the last several years. In fact, the artists that are trying to bring it back tend to live on the other side of the pond (Estelle, Corrine Bailey Rae, Laura Izibour, Joss Stoneetc). As the artists I grew up listening to either died or faded out of the mainstream, it's been replaced with a lot of bells and whistles, but little substance. If you've forgotten what a good old-fashioned R&B album sounds like, this will remind you. I'm very impressed with Wayne Brady and with this album.

Who would think that goofy Wayne Brady had chops??? It is amazing! Why hasn't this CD been marketed better? Had I not heard the TJMS morning show talking about it I would not have known about it. His voice is amazing, the lyrics are tight and his cover of All I Do is great. Love, love, love it.

Thanks to the tjms this cd will be moving high up on the chsrts. He's wonderful and we always new he had versatility. i really enjoyed the remakes of the old songs with a touch of his flavor. i will be playing this cd for awhile. not for the youngsters.

I was shocked to here that Wayne Brady was the artist for the song "ordinary". The words were so good that I called the radio station to find out who was the artist. This CD has great songs, easy listening by yourself or with the one you love!

Wayne Brady has been mostly known for his many appearances on Whose line is it anyways? (as well as the short-lived Wayne Brady Show). He has extremely good vocals and awesome lyrics on this CD. I definitely recommend picking this CD up.
