For his last Movie Phillip Seymour Hoffman delivered a great last performance. Will miss. His acting

We saw the trailers on this and it looked good. Watched the full movie and realized that we have lost a potentially great actor. Obviously the author of the book this was derived from is partially responsible. This movie will keep you riveted with suspense. Superb supporting cast. I must confess, I am a fan of John Le Carre' books and have always thought that Philip Seymour Hoffman's were mostly sad yet thought provoking.

A good film but nothing compared to his performances in Before The Devil Knows You're Dead or Capote. The ending leaves you questioning many outcomes which I didn't care for. Sad to see, this will be Philip Seymour Hoffman's last performance.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman shines as the leader of a German anti-terrorism group. The plot is unpredictable but easy to follow and quite suspenseful. Based on a novel by the master spy-writer, John Le Carre, this is a must see film.

This film is one of the last filmed before the untimely death of Mr. Hoffman, and helps establish his legacy as one of our finer actors. The movie is solid, and worth viewing by casual and dedicated fans alike.

Philip Seymour Hoffman put in a great performance. Robin Wright was her usual strong presence. I got lost a bit in who the good guys were, but ultimately I would recommend this film to friends for the suspence.

This is a great film for those who love spy films and also Phillip Seymour Hoffman since this is one of his last movies! Blu ray is great and comes with a digital copy! Must see!

A well told old-fashioned spy thriller featuring a strong performance from Phillip Seymour Hoffman (unfortunately one of the last films he did before his tragic overdose).

Enjoyed this movie very much! I bought it because, I really like Phillip Seymour Hoffman and its one of his last movies but, it is another good movie by him! Glad I bought it!

Excellent "spy" movie...which was Hoffman's last movie. Very good acting by all the cast members. Hoffman is playing another "solemn" role that he was so famous for.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman's last movie. Gripping till the end. Too bad we will not be seeing any more Hoffman movies, but he did not disappoint with his last movie.

This was based on a John le Carre' novel and isn't a fast paced new-style Bond movie. The story gives some idea of the behind the scenes bureaucratic decision making going on in the world of "espionoge." I thought the movie was well crafted. The acting was really top-notch (well save for some "accent" work) ... this was one of Philip Seymour Hoffman's last movies and he really owned this role. Got it on sale to boot!

I bought this primarily to see the late, great Phillip Seymour Hoffman in one of his last film roles. He delivers yet another outstanding performance.

One has to be focused in watching this movie. It kept my interest from beginning to end. I would recommend purchasing this movie for your collection.

Plot was not as compelling as all the pre-release hype. Gave it 4 stars instead of 3 because I've always liked PSH's work
