This is a new restoration of what many Titanic aficionados consider to be the best and most accurate depiction of the events surrounding the tragic event.
Features include a "Making of" documentary and an interview with survivor Eva Hart.

This one is the best of the lot. Very sad at end with musicians playing up until the final minutes. Not technically accurate as the ship split in half before it went down; but that didn't detract from the enjoyment.

Enjoyed the movie, however could NOT be played thru a DVD player. Wish I had known before purchasing.

Best & Most Accurate Titanic Film

This is the most historically accurate depiction of the 'Titanic' story ever put on film. While the process of the actual sinking of the ship still remains in debate today, everything else in this film was based on eyewitness accounts and information straight from survivors of the disaster. Excellent criterion release, although an anamorphic transfer would have been ideal.
