Had to have it because I love horror movies. Not bad.

Had to buy this to complete my collection of me having all the nightmare on elm streets.

A movie remade to see how it compares to the original.

Not scary, but good story line. Keeps you interested

I was greatly sadend when it was announced they would be "Remaking" A Nightmare On Elmstreet. I mean the Original is a Classic and find nothing at all arong with it. I will admit, my only reason for purchasing this, was because I had purchased the A Nightmare on Elmstreet collection on Blu-Ray & The Friday The 13th collection on blu-ray. And Found that the Friday the 13th Collection included the Remake of the Friday the 13th. And figured, dispite my disappointment, I might as well round it out & purchase the A nightmare on Elstreet remake as well. I will say that dispite my disappointment in having a remake, it's not really that bad. The f/x are much better than the original. They actually show Freddy getting burned to death. And the way they Make Freddy look, is a little scarier. But you know something? Despite that, I am still a die hard fan of the original. I don't regret purchasing the Remake but sometimes a remake isn't needed when the original was allready good.

Although I am not a fan of these types of movies, I had to watch it because I am a Rooney Mara fan and I was told the it was her performance in this move that got her recognized. I thought she did a gret job.

Freddy Kruger is always ready to see you in your dreams. This is another true classic that fans of the Horror genera must own. He's the original and this movie never gets stale.

I also has all the previous Elm Street movies. But because of adult contents in mostly all the movies, won't be able to watch with my kids. Now finally, this one is not only all in one kind of Elm Street movie with nothing which I can't see with my kids. So if you want to see this movie with your kids, don't worry and watch it with your entire family.

I don't know why this got such horrible reviews. It was a decent update to a franchise that hasn't had a film in a long time. It definitely had more scared than the others.

Picture quality is good. Remake of the original nightmare on elm street. Good movie I liked it.

Bought this movie for Halloween night with my kids. I know it's the remake but I thought it was still a good movie. Obviously not a movie for kids but we enjoyed it. Specs are good, special features were ok, overall decent price for bluray version.

Great scary movie for older teens and adults... Freddy still gives me the creeps to this day and I hate that scary song...

This is one of the better horror movie remakes I have seen in recent years! The movie is absolutely phenomenal and it definitely places a different spin on our favorite Elm Street resident! Excellent from start to finish!!!

I’m not sure why this movie got all of the hate that it did. I mean, his voice wasn’t that bad, and the movie gave us the answer that we’ve all kind of wondered. I think this was a job well done.

I've seen the movie twice on regular dvd, but it was almost like wathing a whole different movie on blu ray. Its a plus that you can load it to your cloud on UV and watch from anywhere, plus I got it for an awesome price.

This is a very good horror movie with a very intriguing plot line!

Jackie Earl Haley is great in this movie, not as gory as I expected, but good nonetheless

This is the only scary movie i will watch. I loved it when it came out and still do. It actually has a plot and is not a bunch of blood and screams.
