I have to admit i'm a sucker for a good horror franchise and i'm very much a fan of slasher films in general. For me it doesn't get any more fun than Freddy. The original Nightmare is my all time favorite horror film and though there are some low points (part 5 cough cough) there are some seriously high points too (Dream Warriors and New Nightmare among them). Though I hate the graphic design on the packaging (Freddy deserves better) This is not a bad little set!

Very good transfers at a great price. Plus the extras are plentyful including: a documentary, archival interviews with wes craven, robert englund and other cast and crew, and even 2 episodes of the tv series. Not included: 3D version of part 6, paper 3D glasses, 2010 remake.

This is currently the ONLY way to get Nightmares 4-7. The first movie has a stand-alone release and there is a double feature of 2 & 3 available but the remaining films are exclusive to this set. The remaining films are all on double feature discs and there is a bonus feature dvd includes. Overall it’s a solid set, I just wish they’d have split the films into separate discs to maximize A/V quality.

As someone who grew up watching Freddy Krueger, I have always had the movies either on VHS and then DVD. I've been wanting this bluray collection for months and finally got it. I couldn't be more please with this collection of every Nightmare on Elm Street made!

Couldn’t resist picking up this set on blu ray for only 25. A great deal for some of seven best horror films ever made. Granted the orginal, three and new nightmare are most likely the best three out of the bunch. It’s also interesting the choice of packaging. 2 and 3, 4 and 5, 6 and New Nightmare are both paired on their respective blu ray discs. Also, this package just has the discs. Don’t understand why they didn’t put each movie on their own separate disc.

This collection is so awesome. The packaging is pretty basic but it's very nice to have all the movies in one box (minus the bad remake and Freddy vs. Jason movie) The sequels are all charming in their own way and worth watching. Highly recommended for horror fans.

All the Elm Street movies at a great price! I couldn't pass this up, some highs and lows throughout the series. Freddy is one of the all time great villains that you either love or hate. His creative kills don't disappoint, bottom line......Robert Englund is the MAN!!

Big fan of Nightmare on Elm Street. The Blue ray 7 movie collection is amazing. I highly recommend this Blue Ray collection.

Pretty great collection. Has all of the original movies from the 80's and 90's. Only thing I wish the collection had was the latest remake. That and maybe the Freddy v Jason movie but not as much a fan of the movie so its ok! Still a must have for any scary movie enthusiast.

To me Robert Englund really brought this iconic character to life, should of been in the remake. Been terrified by this guy since I was a kid now get enjoy all these classic slasher horror films have to offer with my favs being new nightmare and FvsJ

Got this as a gift for my kids, I ended up watching all the movies with them, brought back memories of when I first saw them.

I wanted to get this to upgrade my DVD set. What I didn't realize is that the blu-ray collection doesn't have Freddy vs Jason. My DVD set had it and now I got to buy Freddy vs Jason on blu-ray separately.

Always loved this series of movies. Robert Englund is the perfect choice to play the sadistic nightmare killer! The killings are definitely original, as are the various ways to defeat him. Most of the movies were great (except the 2nd one).

I really loved these movies. I will be honest and say I think number 1 is by far the best one of them. I still for the most part liked them all. He is such a great character I hope they try and bring him back for the next generation to love/fear.

Very good quality. Our Granddaughter and Grandson just love scary movies. I don't think they actually seen much of the movies. Since they were busy screaming and covering their heads with a blanket. We had a GREAT family movie night.

If you are a fan of this series, you will not be disappointed by the film transfers or the abundance of bonuses. The only downer is the lack of the 3D scenes for Freddy's Dead, but it's good enough to see everything ported over.

Essential for any horror fan. All of these movies are pretty great with there own charm. Oh and it doesn't have the new remake of mightmare with rorshack from watchmen playing Freddy. All Robert England. 5 stars!!!

I'd been eyeing this blu-ray set for a while. Finally the price came down enough I decided to purchase it. I really appreciated the discs were packaged using very little excess, which makes the box convenient to store and to retrieve discs.

I actually bought my husband this as a gift. He's a huge Nightmare on Elm Street fan. I didn't want to keep on buying one part at a time. The price was great and it was Blu-ray too. He loves it. Now he has it all. It was a great gift.

Great picture and sound. New line did an impressive job on the remastering of “A Nightmare On Elm Street “ . My one complaint is that it didn’t include Digital Copies of the movies.
