Part 1 felt like a solid movie with nothing missing, and usually that means a Part 2 would be overall worse as it's adding to a completed work, but A Quiet Place: Part 2 is just as good as the original, building on what the original had made, and expanding the story and universe. The ending is also conclusive, meaning you can add a Part 3 to it, but it doesn't require a third installment to be a great ending.

John Krasinski delivers another quality film with this sequel to his original film. The film picks up right after the first one ends throwing in a few flashback scenes to show more of the origin of the species. Plenty of action and jump right out at you scares for those that enjoy a good horror flick. The ending sets up a potential sequel that feels like it would end the series off right.

This film gave me a lot of jump scare but story wise I like the first one better. I decided to buy the steel book as it looks cool and neat! Sad I did not have the steel book of the first one. The picture quality and sound quality is without a doubt excellent. I have notice thought that therw was a small dent on the steel book but it's forgivable. I just covered it with the sticker that came with it.

Our family streamed this movie when it first came out and it was great but I could tell by the compression of audio we were missing a lot. Once it was available on 4K Blu-ray we watched it again and was blown away! The difference in quality was so obvious. We have a 7.4.1 with two subs so when you spend the money for a great theater experience why would you cheap out on the content?

This movie takes off right when the first ends. It also shows how it all began. All characters are back with superb performances by Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt as they battle the creatures that hunt by sound. Right when you think all is good near the end, the climactic ending takes you by surprise.

A worthy "Part II" to the original "A Quiet Place". The acting chops it takes to pull off the emotional messaging that has to come across the screen when there is almost no dialogue for the entire film vaults Emily Blunt (otherwise known as Mrs Krasinski) to the top tier of seasoned actresses. This is a serious actress schooling all of us on how incredibly brilliant she really is.

Let’s face it… most Hollywood sequels suck. This one does NOT and takes the mythos behind the creatures barely touched on in the first film and builds on it. Some of the new characters are one-dimensional but Cillian Murphy was a great addition to the cast, and Millicent Simmons’s really stepped up to the plate and shined in a more-prominent role in this film.

Director John Krasinski and the rest of the gang are back for another round of chills and thrills. This time, the action not only takes place in closed quarters but out in the open spaces of ravaged America. Sit back and get ready for the ride of your life - you won't be disappointed........

I' m not so much reviewing the movie content, there are much better sources for that than me. As far as teh picture and the sound - I give both 5 stars. The 4k presentation with Dolby Vision is exceptional. The Atmos mix puts you into the movie, as effects can be heard all around you. I can see me using this as demo material when showing visitors my theater room.

Finally have my favorite film of the year at home. I bought this SteelBook, despite not owning a 4k Blu-ray player, for the artwork alone and it did not disappoint. It’s even better looking in person. The OG Blu-ray presentation is looks and sounds great. The digital code worked without a hitch. And then there’s the film, which, for now, is just as good as its predecessor.

Wow, excellent sequal to an already awesome movie. There has to be a third, right?!? I worried about what the continuation would be without the strong cast from the first movie but have no fear, the actors bring all the skill and experience to their roles that you would expect. There is alot to follow with the multiple character jumping style but its a great ride.

Blind bought the first and was pleasantly surprised. Figured I'd do the same for Part II and it was a great follow up! Can't go into much as to avoid spoilers but it has a great sense of subdued horror elements that are appropriately creepy when necessary. The 4K looks and sounds wonderful. For a film called A Quiet Place, the surround activity is positively ambient while being realistic. Let's face it, there's no such thing as no sound in reality so it is appropriately mixed. Picture quality is terrific with great contrast and brightness highlights while maintaining a neutral color pallette. Top film, top notch disc.

After seeing a Quiet Place and liking it, I decided to try a Quiet Place II, it was very good.However, the ending left us wanting for more. Perhaps a third version is on the way. If you liked the first I feel the second one was even better, with more suspense and the sound track if you have a surround sound system is awesome.

Pleasantly surprised how this sequel is actually really really good. Scary and still with the same thrills, fast paced run for your life moments just as the original. I have to say the directing and editing was also terrific and caught me by surprise. From one shot to another shot mixing thrills and screams was great. Highly recommend it.

Just when you thought quiet place couldn't get any better...... Quiet Place 2 shows up and gets right into your face. John Krasinski is a brilliant mastermind when it comes to this series. Amazing casting and to see local Buffalo, NY scenes on the big screen make it all more amazing. Don't sleep on this series of movies... Hands down must see!!

I like this sequel better because that flash back part showing the world as the aliens first attacked set a great tone. Im thinking in a third they will eventually wipe out the alien threat so i am even more amped to see a third quiet place. I dont want to give out spoilers so if you liked the first you will probably dig the sequel.

Wasnt as good as the first movie. I did love how it started by showing the events that led to the monsters invasion of Earth. From thereon out, it was alright. Too much action and not enough suspense. For a movie based on quiet, there sure was alot of talking. The first movie set such a unique premise that the divergence of the second movie just seemed off. It was still entertaining and the cast did a great job acting. But if you liked the suspense that the first offered by playing off the silence, you may be disappointed

A Quiet Place was such a well thought horror movie that I think it caught a lot of people by surprised. Due to it's success. We now have a sequel that helps fill in some gaps about the origin of the creatures and then sees are characters fight for survival. It's doesn't have the same surprise aspect as the first, but still delivers.

A beautiful steelbook with artwork throughout. The movie is good, a continuation of the original one, where the family must now move on and find others to help in eliminating the enemy from existence. The way has been found, now, executing that way on a mass scale is the key to survival. It's a good sequel and the packaging is well done.

If you enjoy tension then this movie is perfect for you. I enjoyed this more than the first in the same way I like Aliens 2 more than Alien. All great movies, but the originals did not include the same action as the 1st. I just hope there isn’t A quiet place 3 (especially given Alien 3). Enjoy 2- one of the best movies of the year.
