Watched this movie and it was not bad. However, tried to make a night of part one and two and failed to go back to back but I felt that both movies could have been spiced into one whole story. I really like the fresh approach of the first part and the open ended ending is not done a lot but that is very like real life. Good or bad endings dont always happen especially in the end of the world events! The end of part 2, just rimmed out of traditional Hollywood ending and tried to make it more natural and true to the plights of family in that situation of loss and triumph.

I was fine with those first movie, but did not see it do anything really new or interesting. The sequel changes that. It takes things in a new direction, reminds us that the other one while having a positive ending, didn’t end the Steelbook is nice, but not amazing, it I enjoyed thins movie so much, I was glad to have it

this movie was freaking great! i couldn't believe how intense some of the moments were, the original cast returns with some new members and they all do a great job of caring the story foreword. love how its not about the aliens still, its about the survivors. this movie is a prequel/ sequel. definitely worth it

I am usually not fond of sequels, but have to admit, this one was absolutely riveting! I loved the growth of the characters, the new settings, the incorporation of the cochlear device and the heart-stopping suspense and tension when it came to the kids pitted against the monsters! Brilliant and can't wait for the next!

I really enjoyed the first film, so I was in for round two. This one gives you a preview of how it all started. The plot is centered on the daughter, who tends to put peoples lives in danger. She does the same thing here, but they try hard to make her the hero. The story is okay but not very deep, but the direction is top notch. Before I knew it the movie was over, so not a lot of story progression. It does lead into the obvious third film. So if you liked the first one, then you should like this. Let’s hope the next one ups the ante.

This was a thrilling horror movie that kept me on the edge of my seat. The audio is second to none and is a good example of how great audio can sound even without tons of action scenes. The picture quality on the other hand is nothing to write home about.

This is what you want from a sequel. It picks up where the first left off. The film has the same great quality you’d expect from the first. The cinematography, directing, acting, and sound design are all outstanding. The 4K blu ray delivers with sharp quality and some good special features. Pick this one up!

I loved this movie!! It revealed so much about how it all began in the first movie!! It kept me on the edge of my seat!! If you liked the first one you are truly going to love this one!! I can't wait till the third sequel comes out in 2023!!!

It was a great movie. My only issue was, the kids from the first movie are young, so the prequel part of this movie, they do look just a little older. Even their sibling from the first movie, to me the age of the kid they used in the one, didn’t match up, But that’s jus me.

The original version was great -- this sequel does not disappoint! Story line includes background on how the invasion began with improved cinamatography and CG that pulled me into the action. Focus is still on the family, specifically the children. This keeps it fresh and not just another horror flick.

Great movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Jump scares around every corner. The 4K transfer is outstanding as is the audio. Id put it right along with the first one which is hard for a sequel to pull off. 2 thumbs up for me.

We really enjoyed this movie. Emily Blunt and the rest of the cast were outstanding. This sequel filled in many of the blanks from the original movie and also added more information about the aliens. The 4K Blu Ray on our 65" Sony OLED was stunning. This will definitely be watched again and again.

This is arguably the best dolby atmos movie I have ever seen. I would not recommend watching in a noisy or bright environment. I saw this in pitch darkness with a 7.6.4 system and it was nothing short of spectacular. If you have a home theater, this is a must have collectors item- highly recommend.

Amazing sequel to one of the best horror films in recent years. Movie picks up after the events of the first and jumps straight into the bigger world, while revealing backstory on our characters. This edition of the film, the collectible steelbook, is a great package. A must own for fans of the first.

I got the blu ray 4K version. Movie just as good as the first one. To protect myself against the blind extraterrestrials, I locked the door to my apartment, went to my bedroom and locked myself again in my bedroom. Only then did I watched the movie to the end. The aliens never got to me

It was great seeing it in the theater, and really liked it. Was going in with the presumption the sequel wouldn't be any good compared to the first movie. However, I was pleasantly surprised, and so when the steelbooks dropped, I decided to get it.

Surprisingly good, I only bought this ultra he blu ray when I ran out of other movies to buy for my new atmos speaker surround sound system but it’s good acting, pretty good special effects, and great story. I didn’t even see the prequel but you don’t need to; this is good

This movie has some of the best use of overhead speakers Ive ever heard. I have a 7.2.4 setup and every speaker got a workout from the audio mix. The movie itself is also incredible and definitely worth the watch!

This movie had me on the edge of my seat in the movie theaters. Luckily I was able to snag the 4K steelbook second time around as the first batch was sold out. Must watch the first one before this one obviously. Jim Halbert did a great job directing this along with the first.

Excellent follow up to the original. Hard to make sequels, but AQPII does it very well. The story continues right where we left off in Part 1. Video is crisp and clean, but the sound, like the first will blow you away.
