A melodic masterpiece

Sense of Purpose is In Flames defining album. They are able to take a more melodic approach and still retain the butt kicking metal direction that they are known best for. Not many bands can pull this off and still keep their hardline fans. This album has not changed how I feel about one of the best metal bands in the world. If you have not purchased this album, it will be an investment that will stay with you forever. By far the best album of 2008 thus far.

I really enjoyed this cd. A little old style mixed with new and you have this latest album. I started listening to In Flames-Come Clarity album and loved it. Went back for prior albums and found many that I now own. I heard The Jester Race/1995...in my opinion is there best work. And would like them to return to their roots on future albums. If you like melodic, up tempoed, energetic and heavy riffs. Give this band a listen.

As usual, In Flames has adopted another new sound with their latest album. This is great in comparison to Come Clarity; their are a lot more solos and melodic riffs. Every song is really good and can be listened to over and over. Buy it now.

Another progressive album from In Flames. You won't be dissapointed with this one. It is very comparable to Come Clarity, and has still has the feel of some of their older work.
Keep 'em coming.
