I liked this cd. It was different than the usual LP stuff. I would have given it 4 stars if there weren't so many 15 second tracks. I am not sure what everyone is talking about this being a bad cd. It still has the vocals and song writing of LP. Bands evolve, they don't stay stagnant, if you want the old LP, listen to their old stuff, don't expect them not to change.

I apsolututly loved this album. Some of my friends didn't like it, but yet again, everyone has different taste in music. It all depends on your views of the artist and the lyrics in the songs. Some people like songs because it has a good beat even though they don't like the lyrics, some people like songs because of the lyrics, etc. etc. Me personally, I like this album because it puts me in a good mood, and the lyrics make sense.

Many people who are just random listeners of LP might not like the new music, but hardcore LP fans will love it. The new stuff is simply fantastic and really shows how well they can write lyrics, mix samples, and make songs...period! They've gotten back to their roots with this cd with their Hybrid Theory EP, because the sounds and beats pretty much sum up their talent. Go LP, LP forever!

This CD is AWESOME!!! The music styling is amazing, and the lyrics are awe-inspiring! They showed such compassion in the last few songs, a tip of the hat to Linkin' Park. This CD is definately worth the buy, unless you're not open to change, and the men of Linkin' Park certainly made it worth the wait, they produced one heck of an album!

Linkin Park is a great great band. However when they dish out this complete waste of talent album it ticks me off. The reason why LP is so successful is because the world loves their sound. Even Fort Minor was a triumphant win for the band. But this is an album not for the fans but for themselves. They obviously had some demons to work out and I guess their shrink told them to do it through music. I don't know what happened. However I can promise you LP will not do another "concept album" like this again. There are some parts where the music is so bad it almost makes you want to smash stuff. Also the lyrics are downright horrible. I'm just totally stunned that such a talented group of geniuses would let down their fans with such an awful product. However change isn't bad. Many artists change or tweek their style. Eminem just did an entirely new type of album and it was a critical success. I hope I never hear garbage like this again from LP. I will however still support their future works. I just think this was a speedbump.

I really hope LP gets away from Rick Rubin! This album is ok, It definitely is not the Standard Linkin Park everybody has come to know and Love, The best track on this cd is catalyst. It is the only song that comes close to the classic LP sound. If you are expecting LP classic sound STAY AWAY! If you think they needed to "evolve" then by all means give it a try.

This is a really good album. I love Linkin Park they are my favorite band.

This is totally new for Linkin Park, but it sounds AWESOME!!!!!!

I read some criticism of the CD on this site but gave them benefit of the doubt. I wasted $8 (bought on sale). This is the worst CD from them to date. I hope L P go back to their old style instead of experimenting.

I went and bought this cd thinking it was a safe bet it would be as good, if not better then their last cd's. I wish I would have known that it wasn't your standard LP cd. I hate techno, and thats basically all this cd is. Not much in the way of lyrics, and annoying, overplayed, repetitive notes that will make you want to start bashing your head against a wall. Like I said, I want my money back. I couldnt be any more disappointed in LP right now.

Tell me, what initially made Linkin Park? It was their heavy guitar riffs combined with some rap. Overall a great combo. This album has no guitar... I REPEAT NO GUITAR. There are very few tunes worth repeating on this album and the ones that do have this stupid European pop beat to them. Way to alienate your fans Linkin Park! Complete waste of $14. If I could take it back and get a refund I would.

This is not LP, it is garbage! It doesn't sound like any of the previous albums and has no replay value. Other reviewers say listen to the lyrics for the deep meaning. Well here is the only message you need to hear. Buying this CD will only lower the amount of money you have. If I could get a refund I would bring it back to the store! You have been warned.

It looks they change their style of tunes since minutes to midnight.

i dont know if its just me, but im used to the original LP (hybrid theory and meteora) not this garbage there coming out with now!!!!!! This isnt rock anymore, its like if they turned into pop or hip hop group! Will the real LP please stand up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only good song from this album is The Catalyst, that is it! these songs are NOTHING like the old LP songs!!
