This movie is LAME even for a child... Never having read the book I cannot compare but still GARBAGE I think personally... The only thing I enjoyed was the steelbook packaging and that's it.

Not enjoyable at all … extremely boring. I usually love most Disney movies, but this is the exception. Not sure why I got the steelbook … way too expensive for a low quality movie.

This movie is suppose to be for kids but I tell you I absolutely didn't understand none of it! It probably didn't help that I was completely exhausted from work so I was dead tired.

The story was not told well, with the acting so poor, it hurt to watch. Again, not worth watching. My kids hated it. 9 and 11 years old.

This is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time, don't waste your money on this one.

I saw the movie a wrinkle in time at Best Buy and thought I would give it a try and because it is a disney movie.

The whole family loves this movie. It sends a great message to teenage girls.

Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from making horrible desicions - such as watching this movie. Okay, that was a little harsh. This is by no means the worst movie I have ever seen, but there is something to be said about it almost immediatley showing up on Netflix after the home media release. I have never read the books, so I have absolutely no idea how the film compares to them, all I know is that the movie 'Wrinkle in Time' left much to be desired. Mainly in its' acting and disjointed storytelling. The visuals, well, they were gorgeous. Honestly, the character Charles Wallace is one of the main reasons I found this film to be so lackluster. Not too mention certain things that happen way to easily for the characters. If this ever got a sequel I don't think I would bother to see it, nor did it give me any sort of desire to read the books.

For anyone that saw the original, this was a disappointment. Only the special effects saved the movie which was otherwise unremarkable. The acting (or directing) left much to be desired. The acting of the original cast was far better. I felt like the original cast couple with this new version's special effects would have been excellent - but it was not possible.

This was not as good as the original in spite of special effects and big names. It was tedious and slow. The story was underdeveloped and in our opinion the roles were poorly cast and poorly directed. Kids might like it but the message of "me", "me" and more "me" got old.
