I got my first vinyl copy of "Abbey Road" the Christmas of 1969, which I still play occasionally. Although I mostly play a 1980 LP audiophile copy remastered by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. I ordered the CD separately as I am also getting the remastered Mono Box Set. My reaction to the CD says it all, within the first minute, I started smiling and never stopped until it was over. The sound is really good, and of course, the content holds up, all these years later. If you like the Beatles, and don't already own the collection, buy the Stereo Box Set. If you are like me, and have a decent sound system, consider doing what I did. Buy the Mono Box Set and add the three true stereo recordings. A version of "Abbey Road" should be in everyone's music collection, and this one will do nicely.

I ordered a complete set of the Beatles records and it was a joy to do so after all these years. Most of the labels were off brands and three of them (the set was 14 CD's) had the songs in Korean. I emailed Best Buy about this problem and never heard a word back - unimpressive. Was able to copy the correct name for the tracks off the CD covers and correct this interesting problem. I liked the prices, as Beatles albums were never affordable before. Can anyone tell me how to get covers for all 14 CD's for iTunes? They don't seem to recognize your wonderful collection. This review applies to all 14 CD's I bought.

The digipak is a high quality three-panel gatefold. Photos are great. Wish it had lyrics, but for the price, you can't do much better. And because Abbey Road was recorded and mastered in Stereo, this is a great get. Everthing before Let it Be was intended as Mono, so the individual stereo releases for the rest of the catalogue are something to be somewhat wary about. The monos can currently only be bought in a boxed set, which is unfortunate. Maybe EMI will come around on that relatively soon.

This product was worth getting it ! my son had been asking me to get because of some of the songs are in The Beatles Band. I used to have the record back in the days, but getting this CD was the best thing ever. The extra material is excellent ! as a Beatle fan I really treasure it ! I will definitely recommend everybody to buy it.

Product received was great. I placed my order online for an instore pickup. I never received an email to pick up the item when it was ready. After several days I went to the store and it was ready. This same thing happened the last time I ordered from Best Buy.

The Best Beatles Album and now it sounds the way it was meant to sound. The new remastered edition brings it back to the sound it was designed to have. Hard to believe it was made on a 4 track machine, and so quickly. Lots to be learned here.

Abby Road is amazing; if you don’t own it get it. If you own the older CD, then you really don’t need this one. The music is the same, anyone that wants the best quality when listing to the Beatles needs to get an LP.

there is DEFINITELY a difference in the sound quality between the 1987 CD releases and these 2009 remasters, so for any true Beatles fanatic, these remasters are a must own.

A great album to listen to and relax! I didn't notice a noticeable difference with the remastering like I had in past albums, but this one is still great.
