In my opinion this is the Beatles finest record. Here Comes the Sun and Come Together are two of their best songs also. The whole of side 2 is a masterpiece of self editing and song writing. Even Maxwell's Silver Hammer is good!!! On vinyl is ONLY way this should be listened too!

Abbey Road was the final album by the Beatles at the time of their breakupi and it's probably their most polished and tightley produced body of work ever. By the time of Abbey Road, the entire group was fraying apart and producer, George Martin, managed to get everyone back into the studio for the groups' swan song and what a send off!!. Forty seven years on, the music still sounds fresh and remastering onto 180 gram vinyl gives a sound that rivals CDs or downloads. i won't give a critique of the music as much has been written, picked through and gone over these many years; instead, I will say, this is still some of the best music made by a legendary group of musicians whose influence still echoes almost fifty years after their last recording. Definitely a must have album, especially on vinyl, for music lovers everywhere!

Abbey Road was released while the rumors were flying about the Beatles possibly breaking up. This album was released before the "not so final" Let It Be album which was kind of a swan song ........ Let it Be was recorded first but released last. The Beatles still had pride in what they had accomplished and went into the studio to make one great last album. Abbey Road is the album and in my opinion they succeeded. It was a great last album !!! Anyone who is a true Beatles fan should have this album in their collection !!!

Contains great songs, some of which I wish the Beatles would have expanded on. Having read the backgrounds on the albums, knowing things about what's called the golden slumbers medley, it would have been nice for each little nugget to have been expanded upon to give us a complete polished tune the Beatles were known for. Can you imagine being able to hear a 4 minute Polythene Pam, or Mean Mr. Mustard?

This was the last studio recorded album of the BEATLES as a complete group before they disbanded and went their separate ways to cut individual albums. This was their “Swan Song” and it was a good ending for the GREATEST Rock Group there ever was. In 100 years the Beatles will be considered “Classical” music line Beethoven, Chopin, and Bach!

After all these years, no one can doubt that this is one of the best albums of all time. It has been the biggest-selling Beatles' album and it still sounds great nearly fifty years after its release. Like all of their albums, it was engineered and mixed for vinyl and this is still the best format for this album. Great then and great now.

You can't say enough about the job Giles Martin did remastering the Beatles catalog back in 2009. Additionally, the vinyl pressings were top notch as well. As far as I'm concerned, vinyl is the only way to listen to Abbey Road. This pressing shines from start to finish. A must for any vinyl collection.

I first heard this via my father's beat-up vinyl that had been played far too many times. I am glad to have updated this bit of nostalgia for my personal collection. The sound is crisp and clear, the packaging is sturdy. I like to leave the iconic cover on display in my record collection. A must buy for a Beatles fan.
