If you want to laugh at a kids movie, pick this one up. The acting is horrible and the scenes very strange- they have this family (at least, I think they're family- if you watch the credits they all have the same name) act out a song for each letter of the alphabet. The strange thing is that they're french (or french-canadian) and when there's a printed word, it's in french- like La Ferme. The mom or grandma dresses up like a weird clown and looks like she's always out of breath and the grandpa farmer chases the kids around- creepy? Also there is the classic "Jack Be Nimble" skit where the kids jump over a lit candle. Hilarious for comic relief, inappropriate for an educational video!

Put it this way - gather up some neighbor kids record them and put it to music. I threw the DVD away after my daughter watched it one time.... My advice is to spend an extra couple dollars for a decent childrens video.
