I love movies that force you (or seduce you) into rooting for an otherwise despicable character. Seagal competently plays a contract killer who suddenly decides he should do at least ONE good dead. Well he finds himself in a dilemma between loyalty to a woman who really needs his protection (which includes murder and mayhem), and the government that hired him to pull off a sort of impossible mission. The action is well shot (looks great on blue ray). And the story will hold more than just your attention. Just don't expect this to be a blockbuster....it IS close. Enjoy.

I am a big fan of Steven Segal, as I was strolling down the aisle with new release I was happy to see his name a movie again. It was filled with great action,but I am glad I saw it on DVD instead of at the movies. It was a great movie, with lots of action pack drama.

The movie, Absolution, is an entertaining movie, but the story line is so-so. But I seem to always like Steven Segal movies for some reason, even though they are not block busters. The movie is probably worth seeing and has its moments.

Another straight-to-dvd Steven Seagal movie. They're pretty much all the same, same plots, etc. A desperate old, fat man trying to hang on to his youth. But still, gotta collect 'em I guess.

This was one of the better recent Steven Segal movies out there. Don't expect a ton of awesome drama- but if you want heart-stopping action- this is the movie for you!

I really enjoyed this movie from start to finish, it was all and more and very " Segal". It was like a return to the action movies of the past with a human side.

Steven Segal makes an excellent portrayal of a complex character while displaying humanity along with strength of character and an empathetic protagonist.

steven seagal haven made a magnitude movie in years a lot of them he did made never made it to the theater but most of them are not bad, like this one.

What can I say. It's a Steven Seagal movie. Age, unfortunately hasn't helped him to much in his movies, but, he still seems to have the moves.

Lots of action, all the moves that are his trademark, been a fan for a long time even have the muscle shirt ones

I unironically love Steven Seagal, well maybe it's ironic, but whatever, I have all his movies, this is his new one, looks like all the other dumb direct-to-video one's lately, I bought it anyway. I've yet to get drunk enough to watch it. I need to keep up my Seagal fandom.
