Lost my old power cable. This one works perfectly and have not had any issues.

It is a fully functional AC adapter that works without issues and is fairly sturdy. If you need one, this is good. And it works with the Switch 2 as well, though only in handheld mode.

I got this as a second plug to charge my nintendo Switch while I'm at work so I can play during my commute. It is a bit heavy for a charge cord but extremely well made and doesn't break after many uses. The switch only comes with the dock and the cord to charge through it so it is good to have a second way to charge around if you plan on using it more as a portable gaming system. So far so good. Worth the cost.

It's not as small as some cell phone wall chargers but not too big. It's too wide to fit inside some of the switch carrying cases. It's smaller then a post it note. I found this original charger can charge the battery up while playing a game like zelda at the same time. Some 3rd party ones cannot. An extra is useful for portability so you don't have to unplug your original one from the dock.

This is a great choice for people who own a Switch. I use it as a second cradle plug. You can leave the main Switch plug in place and use this second plug in a travel kit or at a second TV. You may also want to get a cheap HDMI cable so you can leave everything alone at the primary place you play your Switch.

This charger is made by Nintendo and exactly like the one that came with the Switch. I bought it so I didn't have to disconnect my original charger when we take the Switch on road trips. I actually travel with it in the box because it packs nice and compact. Because this is the original charger, it can be used with a dock when connected to a TV also.

Because Nintendo switch is portable, this is a must have for every switch owners. Portable chargers is also a must but this will come in handy if you have access to wall outlets. Oh yes! grab this one now if you don't have an extra charger yet. You won't regret it! The stock charger that comes with the switch is plugged into the dock so it will stay there forever.

A must have for those playing off the dock or on the go. Charges the switch quickly and safely. Heats up a bit after being plugged in for a long time, just remember to unplug when not in use!

Most reliable power adapter for Switch, no complaints. I only wish Nintendo would lower the price, $30 is a bit much for a USB C cable attached to an outlet plug. Not Best Buy's fault though.

Charger on my Switch LITE went out after a month of use. (During the COVID shut down). Thankfully, Best Buy had a charger with same day delivery. Got the charger a few hours later, and had my system plugged in, and ready to play! Works great. Can charge both the original Switch console, and the Switch LITE.

Note* I've only used this to charge my Pro Controller. The official power adapter for the Switch is expensive, but it's the one to buy. Third party adapters can have the wrong power wattage, especially when dealing with usb type C. The regulations for type C are all over the place, so one cable is not always equal to another. Skip the headache of trial and error with your new $300 Nintendo Switch and just get this one. This Nintendo official adapter is all one piece, not a power brick and a detachable cable, so there's a better chance of it being the right tool for the job. In short, don't shop around. Just spend the $30 on Nintendo's. They should be using the right parts and it will be easier dealing with faulty OEM products than faulty third party if something ever happens to your Switch or controller.

It works really well with my Nintendo Dock since I was missing the adapter for it. It's also very sturdy since I wrap it into my bag often.

I like having an extra charger for travel and the official charger for the switch charges the fastest and is the only thing I've tried that the dock works with. The price is a bit too high though.

Lost my original charger for the switch and was able to buy this. Unfortunately there isn't much available in most electronic stores, so I'm glad I was lucky enough to get this. Thankfully it works just like the original switch charger.
