The cooler came with a cord for you in the car when traveling - things stay cold or hot. We bought this so that we could continue to keep things hot and cold when we spend the night at a hotel on those longer road trips! Great!

It was as we expected. It is nice to have and 12 volt electricity is not available. We can now use the cooler in our rv is parked since their is no 12 volt plug in the rv

I bought this to use with my new cooler, but it can work well with other 12v devices as well

I got a portable DVD player from Wal-Mart. Their sales people could NOT find an adapter. Best Buy did not have this one in stock, but found it for me online, ordered it, sent it to my house all from the store and guaranteed that if it did not work, they would take it back. Beautiful customer service from the Asst. Manager, who was pretty sweet.

With Georgia having hotter summers, going grocery shopping combined with stopping to eat when you get hungry, or for whatever other reason, kind of requires a way to keep some of your groceries cold. The easiest, longest lasting, coldest, best way is with the koolatron cooler. Thing is, it works best when it is cold to begin with. This adapter allows you to plug the cooler into an ac outlet. This does not come with the Koolatron. Works like a champ. Also use it for traveling to keep the food cold overnight in the motel.

The charger does exactly what I wanted. We use it to pre cool the cooler prior to plugging it onto the car for a trip.

Purchased this to be able to use the cooler with car plug in a regular outlet. Close but not 5 stars because connection to car plug is not smooth.
