This Acer Chromebook is Awesome. It's just what my daughter needed for school. It works better than I expected. It's fast too. I can't believe we got it for such a great price.

This is a basic Chrome book made mostly for surfing the Web and word processing through Google Docs. It is really good for a student needing it for school and for these purposes. That is why I purchased it. Great price. Haven't had it long enough to comment on how it holds up yet.

My Macbook Air died last month while I was writing an essay. I immediately headed to Best buy to get a Chromebook, thinking that if I got the Macbook to work again, I'd just return the Chromebook and keep the 100gb of Google drive. I'm actually loving this little laptop. It's very solid feeling and looks pretty nice without trying to be a Macbook air. The screen is admittedly not the best in terms of viewing angles but for some people I know that's actually a feature.

While the Chromebook may not have all the bells and whistles a Windows-based laptop would have, it was exactly what we needed: a basic internet-enabled laptop perfect for music and internet surfing. My husband isn't a PC power user by any means so we always felt like we were paying a lot of money for him to use an internet browser and Spotify very time we bought a laptop. After buying this Chromebook, we were happily surprised it was both to set up and use right out of the box. I highly recommend this for anyone who just needs a quick on the go laptop or for someone who doesn't need the full functionality of WIndows (my mother in law comes to mind - she's actually getting one of these for her birthday this year).

Well made, very sturdy and light. Boots right up as it uses Google OS which is browser centric. Great for web surfing and email.

I take this laptop to college everyday, and I've never had any issues. It's super light, lighter than almost all of my textbooks actually and while it can't run programs it can still do nearly everything you need school wise. I also use it to go on the internet for fun, like watching live streams and HD YouTube videos and I haven't had any issues unless I had a lot of tabs and i mean A LOT like more than 10 at least. It gets laggy but it still runs. Overall I'd definitely recommend this computer to anyone else.

For basic use on the internet, and some light documents, this is an excellent option. If you're like most people, the majority of your time on a computer is spent browsing the internet. This Chromebook fits perfectly. If you have to write a paper, work on an excel-type file, or anything like that, this will also handle that as well. Is this as good as a macbook or higher end laptop? Of course not. But it's only $200. Tremendous value for what you're getting with this product. As a secondary machine, or even a primary computer for hte above mentioned tasks, this will take care of business.

Bought this for my wife who does not use a computer normally. She loves it turns on fast learing how to access things on line. I use it just to check it out and it works out of the box. no problems noted. The screen is not the greatest but for $149... you can't go wrong.

This acer 11.6 chromebook is perfect.It`s lightweight and easy to use.

This is my first chromebook and I'm very pleased with the fast start up and speed that it delivers. I do web browsing and streaming and it works well when doing this. If your looking for something reliable, quick and to take on the road this fits nicely!

This laptop perfectly suits my needs as a student and with the work I do. I have an online job that online requires access to various websites and, so I don't need anything greater than that. As for my school needs, it certainly meets all of my expectations as well. Certainly there are some downsides of having a chrome operating system such as no flash player, though flash is pretty rare, no actual drive slot, and in many ways is pretty dependent on the internet. Still, it is very fast, efficient, completes all the tasks I need, making it perfect for my non gaming needs.

If you need great laptop for basic needs look no more. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

Lightweight, sleek design. The battery lasts forever! Keyboard is a little clunky but I bought this mainly for leisure use (surfing web etc) so don't use the keyboard much anyways. Great little machine!

My daughter using it daily, battery last long time, wireless a.c. wifi, light and easy to carry around the house. Initially wasn't too interested in chromebook bc of what her friends said they didn't like it, but now that she's uses to it loves it

This is exactly what I was looking for and happened to catch it on sale. It's perfect for my 4 year old who is starting home schooling and has all the features she needs for her programs and at this price I don't mind getting her something to learn on.

I got this for my husband for christmas. It is fast and easy to use. He has a dell lap top that he is always yelling at. He loves this chromebook!!!

This Chromebook is amazing. Light weight, fast start-up, and the battery lasts a very long time. Easily hooks up to my phone for data and is small enough to take just about anywhere.
