Bought for my friends 10 yr old kid who needs to start using a computer for school work. Perfect size and computing power for his age and needs. Does whats needed without breaking the bank.

Originally looking for a different Chromebook, the Acer went on sale and I just could resist for the price. I am SO GLAD I purchased this one! My intent was to get a very light and comfortable Chromebook to use as my "work from home" laptop. Being able to run all of my work apps via XenApp published apps or Citrix, I am fully functional and don't have to lug around a heavy laptop from work or be stuck to my desktop at home. The quality of the Chromebook is very good. Speakers are so-so, but I use a headset anyways, which sound great. It will work well with most internet sites and media, though there are a few sites that aren't compatible with Google Chrome and don't run video or display well. But the usual suspects, such at YouTube, Yahoo, Hulu, Netflix, etc., all work great. The battery life is very good. At 100% charge, mine lasts almost 10 hours without bluetooth activated. With bluetooth on, it drops to about 6-7 hours but that's ok. Still more than sufficient to drive bluetooth headsets to watch movies for a few hours.

I have owned a Chromebook for years. I bought this one for my teenage daughter and she loves it. It's light and very easy to use. Works great for her homework and internet games.

If you are looking for a lighweight laptop to browse the internet and access files stored in the cloud, you cannot go wrong with this Acer Chromebook. Excellent value. Great computer!

I love this chrome book, it was a present for my teenage daughter and she has used it everyday since we bought it. It is really light and portable so she can easily take it anywhere. The battery last a pretty good amount of time as well.

I purchased the Chromebook because I needed an affordable means to access the internet at home. I just wanted it for basic needs - checking email, watching videos, social media, ordering online. I've been using Google Docs to create resumes, letters, and basic spreadsheets, so I do not miss Word and Excel all that much. As a bonus - the Chromebook is super easy to set up and connect to home Wi-Fi. At $129.00 on sale, I will definitely get more than my money's worth!

I bought this chrome book specifically to do online homework and it works perfect for that at an affordable rate. Screen size is ideal to have in a classroom type setting which is not too big or little. The reason I would not give 5 stars is due to the lack of apps. If you have to use any Microsoft office app on a regular basis, this will be a waste of money. Google docs is kind of the same but lacks a lot of the settings that regular Microsoft word would have and same with excel.

My kids received this for Christmas. They love how fast they are. They can do papers for school, do research and still play games and watch videos. Great price for this device too.

Good price and value for a decent laptop. Good for everyday tasks, email, web browsing and watching Netflix.

First laptop for my daughter. Starts up quickly and works at a great speed. Very happy with the purchase especially at the price. Only wish she could play minecraft on it.

Bought this for my mother and she loves it. It's the perfect size for travel and easy to use. It's lovely and I'm thinking about getting another one for myself. The price is right and she hasn't had any problems out of it.

This thing is awesome! It can do almost everything a regular laptop can do for a fraction of the price. Works really well for web based activities, not a computer I would recommend for heavy word processing but that's not what it's made for anyways:)

It does very good for what I need but disappointed that you can not download anything but chrome apps. Can't download any exe files.

I bought this for my daughter,for school and play.she is pleased with it,one day I decided to use it for my school and everything works for online classes and flash and outlook email.this is fast light and I'm impressed

My 7th grade son obtained a virus on his barely 6 month old HP. Geek squad was going to charge $199 to get rid of virus so I decided just to purchase the chrome book instead, since that is what he is using for journalism anyway. Love it! It is so much easier for him to use and it is virus free! He has been happy with it and has had no problems with it! He loves it. The HP he could not figure out!

Very easy to access, good programs available, don't have the malware prolbems associated with Windows systems. I will buy another Chromebook, but with a bigger screen.

My 8 year old is very happy with this gift! The Chromebook is very user friendly. Its lightweight and easy to manage for little hands. You can also get apps on it! So far so good!
