I purchased two of these Chromebooks to take care of day to day tasks, as my old computer was showing its age. My wife and I have now begun using the Chromebooks for everything. My kids also use them to play learning games online. There are faster models available, but for less than $200 they are a great value.

My daughter was mature enough to handle a computer and kinda needed one to do some homework on(They have them using them in her school anyway). Saw this in the store and decided that the price was excellent. The setup was easy and there have been no problems with it. I can't say enough how great this little gift has helped her with her schoolwork!!!

We bought this for our children, who started computer classes in school. It was $180 out the door and they love it. However, they need to pull it out of my hands, because it's so much more usable than my work laptop for the simple things you want to do when around the house - personal email, web searches, teaching typing on a keyboard - not a tablet... Yes, it will not do everything a PC will do (no, can't / won't give up my work laptop) and does take some getting use to, but "PC's" may be on life support for the general everyday user.

This computer is a great little one to have at home. It is very quick from start to online ready. You do need a wifi connection at all times to be able to use this device. It does not have a disc drive which is a little disappointing. You need an external drive in order to use discs. It is blue tooth compatible. Overall it is something that does the job!

The laptop has a small screen but it is a very good value for the price. I am a high school student and I use the Chrome Book in school daily.

I love the whole idea behind the Chromebook! I was looking for a replacement computer for my parents because theirs kept getting infected. I decided to buy them a Chromebook along with an external keyboard, mouse and monitor. This setup works very well for them. The Chromebook are simple and easy to manage and does the job for basic web browsing. I loved it so much I will probably get a higher end model for myself.

Cant beat this acer chromebook for under $100.00 on black Friday niece loves it works great.

I have no complaints about the product, it's great. The workers at the Best Buy location we bought it from, that's another story. It took 10 minutes for someone to find someone to help us (who then made it seem like a burden to help & acted annoyed), another 10 minutes for *2 employees* to figure out if they had what we came in for (they did, I'd called ahead), & another 10 minutes to figure out where it was at. They got it out, & wondered aloud why it was on & in 'demo mode'. The item was taken to the Geek Squad, it took 2 men 5 minutes to finally come out from the back to help, only to have no clue whether it was in demo mode or not, & if it was, why. They looked it over for a few minutes, mumbling to each other, & they finally said 'we're not sure'. NOT SURE? Isn't this your job, to figure these things out? All in all, our experience with your employees at this store was horrible. The product is great.

I just needed a backup laptop for email and surfing the web. This was perfect. Fast and light.

I bought a chrome book originally because I was getting charges on my credit cards that were fraudulent. Windows is always under attack. I have not had any problems since I bought the chrome book. I would not try to use this as a regular computer but I enjoy it for handling my finances. This is my second one. I broke the screen on the first. I'll never go back to doing financial transactions on a regular computer again.

I got this chromebook so i didn't have to lug my big laptop around when traveling, and it has met all of my expectations. It is chrome os, so having a familiarity with google systems (gmail/drive/docs) helps. Works great if you just want to be able to browse the internet or watch videos. Battery life is fantastic as well. I would suggest if you aren't a track pad person pick up a cheap USB wireless mouse to use, I was comfortable with the track pad but my brother didn't like using it. Overall would definitely recommend.

Bought the Acer Chromebook for my mother who had never used the internet. She loves it. It is very easy for the beginner to start up, navigate, and learn basic use of the internet. Would recommend and may purchase another one for myself. Great product. Great price.
