This was a gift for my husband at Christmas. He wanted something small and fast. This meets both of those requirements. He loves it.

Bought this and a low end laptop with a dvd drive. The chrome book blows the more expensive laptop out of the water. Easy to use and setup. It connected to the Internet quickly. Only wish it had an Ethernet port and the ability to attach an external dvd drive.

If you just need something for internet access and "light" document management/storage - this is a good machine. Small, light and convenient.

My son bought this laptop with his birthday money. He said the computer is easy to use, light, so easy to carry anywhere and affordable.

It's a really good looking device. My daughter especially likes the white color. It's light and easy to use for her school work.

Got the latest Acer as I was out of town and needed a computer in a hurry to replace the last Acer Chromebook that broke and wasn't worth fixing. The newer one is faster. I was pleased I was able to upload data and get it working simply. But I was very disappointed that the new one eliminated certain keys and replaced them with commands. The CAPS LOCK key, for instance was replaced. And the method to get all caps doesn't work right.

I like this Chromebook so far although it is taking some getting used to as it's not windows and I can't put Mozilla Firefox on it. Other than that, it's great - lightweight, fast, and easy to use the keyboard. The Black Friday price was also great! I'm not yet sure how to hook it up to my printer since there is not a DVD drive but I'm sure I'll figure this out.

Battery lasts throughout the day, and it's pretty fast. Had Linux installed with no issues.

Wasn't too sure about buying a chromebook since I'm more of desktop/laptop person. Was looking for something that was easy to use and essentially "dummy proof" for my 7 year old son. This thing has been great for him to do his homework on. Easy to use!!!

This was the first Chromebook I've really dealt with. We got this as a gift for someone who's not the greatest with computers to begin with. The Chromebook was an excellent way to go about introducing one to using a computer. With the limited abilities (compared to Windows or Mac) it's easy to not get lost with all the different settings.

This was a great buy at Christmas. It is just the right size to carry and the weight is so lite. We are very pleased with all the features.

Great gift for our eleven year old son. Battery lasts for 6+ hours and the design is pretty sturdy. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of options for parental control... You can install an extension but a smart kid can figure out how to turn it off. You can create a supervised account, but then your kid can't access all of the benefits of having their own Google ID. Overall, I think that this product is great for the price (I paid under $100 for Black Friday), just be aware of the limitations!

Got this on sale Black Friday. Keep in mind it is a Chromebook and they are very limited. It gets you on the internet, boots up in a flash and runs Chrome and works seamlessly with google apps. If you are expecting a display like a Mac, you're looking in the wrong place....the Chromebook just gets the job done without all the pizazz. Don't plan on doing any photo or movie editing with this. I would buy a Mac to do all that serious stuff. For what I paid, (under $170 including tax) I am extremely satisfied!

This laptop is terrific for all my computer needs!! Paying bills, searching Internet and playing games. Very light weight !

It is a great size to take on the go. I would recommend this for college students.

The Chromebook is an excellent computer that is between your notebook and tablet. It works just right and got the right feel to it. Does everything if you mainly spend time on line. Viruses?? At least for now, a thing of the past. Simple fast restore to factory if there is an issue.

Why spend $1,000 on a computer when you only do fifteen things. The Chromebook does fifteen things or more for a whole lot less money. This was one of the best investments I have ever made. I have a desktop, but I only do fifteen things. I definitely recommend the Chromebook to anyone looking doing more that fifteen things.

Purchased for father-in -law to use as browser, has been easy for him to use. Grandchildren were able to teach him how to use video chat function easily. Light weight and good battery have allowed him to move Chromebook around apartment easily and increase his ability to use.
