We recently purchased our 2nd Chromebook, the Acer 11.5". After using it for the past week there are differences in the feel of the trackpad, keys and case when compared to our Samsung Chromebook, which we purchased from Best Buy too. Although both machines were discounted the same and they both do the job the Acer feels inferior. The case is plastic and the trackpad is spongy.

I bought this for my 13 year old niece who just needed a computer to surf the internet, watch You Tube videos, etc. It is great, easy to set up and runs pretty fast. A great computer for the price.

Can't beat it for the price. It may not be as powerful as most phones but most phones cost several times more. Not knowing what to expect having never used chrome but I was pleasantly surprised. If all you need is E-mail and Facebook etc... this is the best purchase you can make. My wife was using a Macbook Pro to do what this Chromebook can do! best 179$ I've ever spent.

When our HP laptop bit the dust, we shopeed for a replacement but the prices were too high. When we really thought about how we used our laptop, it was mainly to surf the web. We decided to get this Acer Chromebook and have been happy with our purchase so far.

This is a good little unit for web access. My only concern was that I purchased for my mother and the screen is a little small, but not the fault of the unit.

This is good and responsive laptop. It starts up quickly and is easy to move through the preloaded products that come with the Chrome OS. Does not easily connect to hidden networks. For a device that can only connect to the internet through wifi this is unexpected and problematic. Other than issue with connecting to the internet the tablet has excellent battery life and a suite of Google apps which support the Google education environment.
