Actually, I purchased 4 of these as gifts for Christmas. My children and brother can't be caught without them. I ordered memory cards for additional space, but the Chromebook does everything needed without any problems.

This laptop should suffice most of people out there. Unless you are a heavy/serious gamer or must need top tier PCs to get your work done, this laptop is more than enough to get all your basic needs, ie school work, light/simple gaming, browse internet, social media, music, movies, and so on. i'm a coder and this is still more than enough these days.

My daughter loved this Christmas gift. It makes it so much more convenient for her to write and research her reports. She can do it anywhere instead of sitting at the family computer. I didn't think she needed it since she has an IPad but she thinks its much easier at least for homework.

I bought this Chromebook for my daughter who's starting high school. I set it up and tried it out for a couple of days before I gave it to her... and it was a fun test drive. In fact, I think I may get one, too. Not only is it super quick, it's very light and great to travel with. I was able to do WAY ore on it than I thought. For example, I thought I may run into issues using Microsoft Office 365 Online Web App (OWA) but I it was a breeze. Also, downloading PDFs and other docs for viewing was easy. The WiFi reception was perfect. I even used my iPhone Personal Hotspot WiFi when I was away from an office or home WiFi connection, which worked without any hiccups. I'd highly recommend this machine to anyone who wants a fast Chromebook at a low price point.

Great chrome book for the size. It is not heavy and works well on trips.

As I'm already part of the google cloud zone, this laptop was a no brainer. Bought it on thanksgiving day and thus far have been very pleased with the battery life and ease of use. Only downside I can call out is the display as it's not as nice as some other products I've owned, including my Acer Iconia 8 inch tablet. If you are looking for a very nice product for email and browsing the web, you cannot gowrong with this ChromeBook!

I have used this extensively as my primary device as I have cloud based email service for work and a work through secure site. This device starts quickly and seems to never bog down. Being able to use Chrome OS and google docs helps with shared documents and edits on the fly.

Purchased for my 6 year old. It's perfect for her. Had to get a gmail account to set it up. That wasn't in the start up instructions so I almost took it back to the store but was able to find the problem and get it set up quickly. It's been great since then. Easy to use. She loves it!

I got this for my girlfriend. She loves it, so I guess that means it's pretty awesome. I'm even more awesome for getting it for her, though. Best Boyfriend Ever. Also, the battery life is a lot better than you'd expect.

Kids wanted a laptop, but this basically doest the same thing like ur android on a laptop. The price was great. Wide screen makes it feel bigger than ur average same size laptop

Got this for my daughter and she loves it! It has an incredible battery life. It would get 5 stars but the lack of Skype and a CD Rom hurt this a bit but barely enough to discredit it.

This has become my "go-to" for web browsing. Excellent response time with bright sharp screen images, and the conveniences of the chrome system. The unit seems to be very well built, the keys have a very satisfying "click" that makes data entry precise. With a desk top, a tablet, and a windows netbook, I hesitated to buy this but now I am very glad that I did.

We really like the chromebook. It's just the right size: smaller than a laptop but larger than a notebook and the speed of starting up, shutting down and opening pages is amazing. It's the best computer device we own.

My kids use this chrome book to complete their homework. Very nice alternative to a complicated, expensive computer. This chrome book is not fancy but does everything we need it to do and allows for kids to submit school assignments using the shared Google drive that their schools require.

My goal was to find a laptop for home (ie not work!) that I could use online, tweet using tweetdeck, and that would work with my chromecast. After one reboot for a browser update, everything was smooth sailing.

A great solution for a great price. Quick start up, good battery life, good speed. I was looking for something to use at home, mainly checking personal email, online shopping and social media sites. It is solid and light weight which makes it easy to take along.

Perfect for my wife. She doesn't need to play games she just needed the Internet. Very quick boot time and excellent internet performance.

My son uses this daily to do his homework for fifth grade, and he uses it to study with apps his teacher had him download. It runs great, no problems, and holds charge a while so a good fit for a ten year old.

Everything I expected it would be, a great little tool for browsing and more. Well worth the money. I kept an eye on it until it went down to 129.99 and i jumped on it!

I purchased this computer two months ago for my seven year old daughter. She absolutely loves her Chromebook. Quick processor and startup time. My only issue is the lack of Internet security-related programs or filters.
