I think the price is a little high, but this is a great computer for what I needed. Battery life is very good, screen size is great.

Bought this for my daughter to use because her school puts all assignments online. Easy to use and small enough to travel with.

Let's start this review with a couple of caveats. If you are looking for a laptop to do serious gaming on, this is not it, but then no sub $500 laptop will work for you. If you are a big time photoshop editor, you probably aren't looking at sub $500 laptops either. Now if you are looking for a good looking laptop to take to the coffee shop to surf the web and edit some documents for work/school/fun, this is it. It is a little more expensive than your average Chromebook, but the fit and finish of this machine is well worth it. The aluminum body is good looking and feels great. Is it a MacBook Air? No, but close. It feels substantial, in a good way, in your hands while you hold it. The laptop hinges don't wobble and the body sits nicely on a table or your lap. The keyboard travel is a little shallow, but I like it. The keys have a nice positive feedback. The keyboard also doesn't feel cramped and is easy to type on for extended periods of time. I never miss the space bar and the trackpad is good at ignoring random brushes from my hands as I type. If you use Chrome Browsers already then the Chromebook is the perfect extension of that. Everything gets synced across, between your desktops, laptops, Android Phone, etc. You can almost pick up where you left off. Google Docs and Sheets (Word and Excel) work great and are a great sub for the Microsoft versions. The screen on this laptop is beautiful and is a pleasure to use, the HD is crisp and the colors are accurate. Grab this laptop while you can, it is a flagship level Chromebook without the cost of the Dell Chromebook 13 or the Pixel, which are the standard bearers of the family.

It was delivered to my house in perfect condition. It was easy to set up. My son and I use it for school. I like the look of the chromebook and the feel of the keypad. It is light. I have had no issues with it. It was exactly what I was looking for. I only gave this a 4 star because I have only had it for a month.

This device is a solid, reliable, reasonably fast machine at a really low price. It doesn't have a touch screen. USB works fine. Battery life is excellent, rarely have to plug in. The only thing to look out for is that Google apps and the Google Store are not enabled out of the box -- this is because Acer has not added support for it. You need to download another build, like a beta or development one then you get apps. Other than that, this Acer is fine

This Acer Chromebook has been more than suitable for my daughter's needs as a teenager in junior year of high school. it's fast, gets good wifi reception, the screen resolution is 1080P. I have a MacBook retina and was considering updating to a MacBook 12", but since I mainly use my laptop to surf online, I'm considering just getting this Chromebook instead; or something a little smaller. With this Chromebook, Google offers you a year of 100GB of cloud storage as well. This particular Chromebook has made me rethink how much I need to pay for a great websurfing portable personal computer!

I bought my son this chrome book for college and he loves it. Easy to use and light weight.

After 3 years my wifes C720 Chromebook needed to be replaced. One of the arrow keys broke off. She had a couple of complaints about the old machine. Small screen and not enough memory. This one has a larger much nicer display 1600x900 and 4GB of RAM. Logged in with her Google account and she was up and running. This one has a pretty nice build quality and isn't much larger then my Lenovo Carbon X1.

I've never owned a chrome book before but I read up on the advantages of having one and sure enough, it is very well built for what it is designed to do. It is the perfect machine to browse the internet. Very light, portable, full HD, long battery life, speedy, and very AFFORDABLE!

Have owned other chromebooks and this is superior. Faster and great screen resolution

I purchased this laptop almost 2 years ago for my son's birthday. He was about 8 and fell in love with the laptop. He has done a lot of school work on it and it is also the same type of laptop his school uses. We have had no performance issues so far. I have a Macbook pro but I honestly feel that this is more affordable and may consider this an option next time for myself. I am a MAC user however at the price point for basic use, I cannot justify spending almost 2000.00 on another laptop for what I use it for. I was online today trying to locate a similar product for my mom for Christmas. Great laptop. This one was also on sale maybe because they were coming out with a more current model but it has served my son well. Easy to use. I will purchase another.

This laptop is a very good investment if you don't wanna spend a lot of money and this laptop can give a very good reliability, battery last for more than 3 hours which is pretty good, speed processor and overall performance is very good as well.

For the price this Chromebook is a great bargain. It has one of the most sturdy chassis that I have found in a Chromebook, as it is all aluminum. The specs are also pretty decent, as it has a high resolution display, a fair amount of RAM and flash memory. The selling price seems to vary quite a bit from week to week. So you may want to wait for it to go on sale.

I purchased this product because I operate between two different desktops on the go. The Chrome webstore is not a restricting factor for me because I can access any programs I need from my desktops. I had 2 key requirements for purchasing this product, a 1080p screen and 4gb of ram. This "computer" does exactly what I bought it for. The battery life is phenomenal, the screen is nice and soft to look at. The speakers are a bit lacking, but that shouldn't be an expectation for a $250 product. At any rate, this is a great product for the price but do not buy it expecting a full laptop feel because that is not the purpose here.

I think it's a great laptop to have at home. It feels solid, awesome touchpad comparable to macbook's ones, nice screen and a long battery. Performance wise it's ok, loads most of the pages fine, but may struggle with heavy one.
