this is a great stylish laptop if you can afford the cost it is very fast and looks great. the only down sides are the size it is not a light laptop by any means also the rgb lights for the keyboard are super dim and hardly noticeable in daylight the screen also has some ocastional tearing but not offten only when pushing it hard

Computer has great specs. Computer time was off and would not sync with the internet. During program installation, computer froze. I had to reset the computer to start over. Did not fix the time syncing issue. Asus support not helpful online at all. Geek Squad couldn't figure out issue. Would be great system if the sofrware worked and there was some tech support to fix issues. Computer went back.

I have had this laptop for a few months. This is a great laptop, whether you use it for gaming or not. The 4K display is incredible. So much easier to read text and the colors are vibrant. I really can't say enough about the 4K display and how much easier it is on the eyes. I love having a TB SSD as well as a TB hard drive. My only criticism, is the ac adapter it came with is not powerful enough to keep the battery charged well. I ended up buying a stronger ac adapter that seems to work great. The battery remains fully charged now even during long gaming sessions. ( I play 7 Days To Die) I would recommend it, but would also recommend replacing the small ac adapter for it. This machine is powerful enough to play games on relatively high settings with no hiccups. Personally, I love this machine.

I have a non-gaming uhd laptop and my son has a non-uhd gaming laptop so when I purchased this I thought I was going to be getting the incredible game images I had with mine (although very slow since it's a non-gaming one) while performing as well as his but I was in for a big let down. The in game images (playing Elder Scrolls Online) are of poorer quality than both laptops. This one was $2700, my old one was $1000, and my son's was $1350...an older model Acer at half the cost and his is better. The in game frames per second were actually a little lower than his when I did a comparison of the two (from the same location in the game). I can't even get the wallpaper to look like an uhd image. I chatted online with the geek squad but he wouldn't help since I didn't purchase their plan (just got this yesterday) and he suggested taking it to the store and have them look at it...no, this should outperform both of our older ones straight from the box and it doesn't.
