This computer is *fast*. I bought it for work and because I can't see small screens. And I game with my sons. It will run Space Engineers on high settings. I didn't get lag, even on complex objects.
I'm very happy with my purchase, but I think my son is eyeballing it now though.
I saved a few hundred dollars by going refurb, and I'm glad I did. I used the savings for a nice wireless mouse and an oversized backpack.

First one had a video card error and froze all the time. Second one is working good, only complaint so far is light bleed.

Wifi Keeps cutting off and Glitches and restarts

So I just got my laptop in yesterday and it looked good without turning it on, but as soon as i turned it on, there was a problem. ten seconds after i booted the laptop up, weird horizontal green lines started appearing and glitching in and out and restarted the laptop. When it got restarted i tried to connect to wifi but it would connect and then disconnecct multiple times even when i went to device managaer and reinstalled the adapter. The green glitch and lines didnt even stop because at least every 1-5 minutes of use, the laptop shuts down and restarts. Had a horrible experience firsthand. Going back to best buy to get a full refund on this because this is ridiculous.

Mine worked fine out of the box. I have worked and played on it, hooked it to the TV, wireless and wired networked, wireless mouse, etc. It all works fine. I would absolutely save a ton of money again and go refurb. As for this model, I run Space Engineers in HD with medium/high settings and it runs fine, if a little warm. Just don't block the vents.
