my son's monitor went out so I went to best buy and found this one for a great price,works great with his games too

Purchased the Acer 19" monitor to use with my security camera system. The monitor works perfectly with a clear picture. Excellent for what I needed it for.

Absolutely the worst monitor I have ever purchased. I was looking for a cheap monitor to use a dual monitor set up. I would've been better off purchasing an expensive monitor that actually worked. I went through numerous adapters, DVI, VGA, and HDMI adapters / converters in order to get this monitor to even be recognized by machine. The only component that made it work was a USB monitor connector. Complete garbage, you get exactly what you pay for and you're better off spending the extra $50 for a nicer brand. I will never purchase another ACER product again!

My laptop LCD fizzled so I needed a monitor to attach through the HDMI port while I shopped for a replacement laptop (you will need a HDMI to VGA adaptor cable which I had on hand). This monitor was on sale at Best Buy at the time for $89, and I did not want to spend too much money on a monitor for short term use. I did buy a new laptop (13 inch screen, same as before) , but I like using the larger screen of this monitor for work so much that I continue to use it. If you are not insistent on high definition resolution and just would like a larger screen for work purposes (not a HD monitor for movies or HD streaming although this monitor is average for such purposes), then this is a good buy when on sale for $89.

Good price and works great! Perfect for a small desk. I use it to wprk from home to have a larger screen than my small laptop screen.

I needed an inexpensive and not-too-large monitor to attach to my laptop for a project that I was completing. The price of this monitor was right, it worked immediately on being attached to the laptop, and the quality of the image was actually better than I expected it to be. I don't think that this would be a monitor for one who demands perfection, but I am pleased with the purchase.

This monitor is a great monitor for its size and its price.

I use this for everyday browsing and computing, and I wouldn't expect anything more for the price. If I was a gamer or extremely concerned with video quality I might recommend something else. But for everyday use, there's no need to shell out the dough for more expensive units.

After some 20 years of faithful service, my reliable Viewsonic CRT monitor was sent to the electronics recycling center. It was still functioning perfectly; it's just that I was tired of having this behemoth of a monitor taking up so much space on the desk where I have my secondary computer. In honor of the brand, I initially looked at the LED monitors this company makes, but found that the cost was more than I wanted to pay for a basic monitor. In fact, all of the major brands cost more than I wanted to pay. I have a beautiful Samsung LED monitor with HDMI that I use with my primary computer; but for my second computer I wanted just a basic monitor that gets it done without frills. This Acer turned out to be the perfect solution. True, it has only VGA and DVI inputs, but all I wanted was a decent size screen with relatively fast response time, and the Acer performs well in this department. I am quite satisfied with it.

Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. And for the price, you cannot beat this monitor. It is great for occasional/casual use. Not great on games, video or for programming, but as an inexpensive second monitor for a laptop, it is a great choice.

This was great for the price, not too costly but it does deliver. The anti-glare is a big help since there is a window behind me. You can really tell the difference whenever I switch to a laptop. Set up was straightforward. Can't go wrong with this one.

This is the '2nd' Acer monitor that I have possessed~the first one was a gift~~but after a year, it developed a 'vertical line' that indicated a defect within the monitor~~I liked the size and simplicity of the monitor, so just replaced it with the same model.....still enjoying it, and hopefully, will not have the same problem!~~~I trust the Acer Brand!~

I was travelling and working remotely and needed an additional monitor when I got there. I chose this monitor for its screen size, price and ease of hookup (all necessary cables were included).

So far so good! Very easy to install, basically plug and play. Fantastic picture quality. I'm not using this particular monitor for gaming, so I can't comment too much about that, but movies look fine on it!

This monitor has been performing well since the day I bought it. I use it when I work at home. I connect it to my laptop and have a 2-screen set up. Can't beat it for the price.

I bought this item to help set up my in home office. I use it everyday and am very happy with the picture and the quality for less money than some of the others I looked at.

I've had this monitor for several months and have been very happy with it. Colors and definition are excellent. Price was very reasonable. Great monitor for everyday use.
