I got this on sale ($60) and am satisfied that it was a good purchase. Two negatives: the base is not adjustible for either angle of view or height and the LED output is VERY bright. I ordered a pedestal from Amazon to reduce the glare and eye strain. The other issue is that the latest version of X (on Linux) selected 1024 x 768 as the native resolution resulting in distortion and huge icons, etc. This was resolved by using xrandr to find a modeline that allowed the system to use the 1600 x 900 resolution. This may not be an issue on Windows of Mac OSX. Not a bad monitor for the money.

I bought this monitor after needing a second screen to do homework on. I didn't need anything fancy. This fits the bill. I also use it for Netflix and the colors are very vivid. It was a great purchase and I hope it lasts for years to come.

My eyes needed a break from my laptop monitor and after some reviews (and a good sale price) I picked this up. I needed to get the HDMI to VGA adaptor cable for my Dell laptop. Set up took 5-10 minutes and I was on my way.

Nice and large, HD quality is very good. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Great monitor for the money. Plug and play. Power save mode has a bright blinking blue light in bottom corner of monitor case, as long as this does not bother you great monitor. If it does you'll need to manually turn it off after use.

The price caught my attention as I needed a spare monitor for my computer workshop. Good choice, easy to connect, light weight and very cost effective. I prefer Acer monitors and have one for each of my house computers.

Bought these to replace (still functioning) Sylvania tube monitors (ca 2000 vintage). These are being used as heads on servers and spend most of their time off. I tried a couple of cat videos on a server to see what the monitor could do and the results were credible. The tan cat washed out a little, but the grey and brown ones looked just like they did on the Samsung monitors. The brown and grey ones were watchng the video too, so the comparison to how they .really appear was easy. For the price I would get a few more of these for control and monitor stations.

Good solid monitor for small business use, great value.

Bought this monitor on a steal of a deal for my son's computer and it works great. It work s excellent for the games he plays, Minecraft and Robolox.
