The laptop is ok. I knew what I was buying when I bought it but the hard drive is super slow. Seriously, this is the SLOWEST modern hard drive I have ever used, it might as well be PATA. For non techies, that means it is as slow as a hard drive that came out in the miIt'snineties. (That's bad). I've had issues with the laptop freezing but, I think that's a Windows issue (possibly drivers)(possibly a tinkering issue). I immediately replaced the wireless card for something with 802.11ac capability because I can't stand not having 5GHz capability. It's got Windows 8.1 on it as does 98% of all Windows laptops out now. That's fixable with Windows 7 or 10. The positives: Great battery life. At least 5 hours. Really fast ram. Windows rated it a 7.5. Upgradeable too (but you're gonna wanna have a little experience opening laptops to do it. There is NOT a panel on the bottom to open to change things on the inside) Good processor with graphics. Can't beat the AMD Apu combo graphics unless you go dedicated cpu/graphics chips separate. DVD burner. A lot of laptops coming out now don't have them. I still value one and use it. The only reason I would not recommend this laptop to my friends is because my friends are techies like me. For regular, non-tinkering, non-techy people, it's fine.

This computer is very fast and responsive. It is perfect for anyone who is a gamer, surfs the internet or pays bills online. I was very impressed with how quick it is as my husband is not much for waiting for the page to load. He was even impressed with how fast this computer is. You will not be sorry when you buy this one.
