This laptop delivers exactly as promised. It's solid and well made and full of great design features. The keyboard is crisp, the oversized touch pad is better than any I've seen, the screen is brilliant. The factory software is solid and not overdone. Great laptop.

This computer is great, especially if you are a student. The flip screen is very useful for presentation and study groups. The touchscreen makes the computer easy to manage and the stylus is also great when you are using your computer as a tablet. I have read in previous reviews that people had a hard time with the touchpad being above the key board, but it was an easy transition for me. Plus there is no need for it when you have a touch screen.

So far this laptop has done a fine job with no problems.

The Acer R15 is definitely a cool computer it functions well with Windows 10, nice battery life and pretty portable. Pros: -Functions well as a PC, does everything you need it to. -Backlit keyboard is super helpful. -Light and portable for such a large Laptop. -Decently Fast but nothing incredible. CONS: -Touch screen is useless and very wonky. It doesn't work majority of the time for scrolling on a page. It is basically useless if you use the trackpad or a mouse. -Tablet mode is a bust as I said above the touch screen is terrible, the computer is too big and too heavy to be used as a tablet rendering it a useless function. -THE BIGGEST DRAWBACK is that the screen is very thin and fraigle, in an attempt to flip the screen to go into tablet mode the screen cracked and spiderwebbed across the whole display and repair is more expencive since its a touchscreen. No touch screen should crack under normal amound of pressure put on it. -The backlit keyboard is an awesome feature but the time out is too fast it usually only stay lit for 30 seconds of innactivity then goes dark. -Too much bloatware preinstalled. -Fan is very noisy under very light use. TL;DR: Battery is decent not outstanding just okay. Backlit keyboard is just okay. Tablet mode and touch screen probably runied the device. Preformance is about adverage with the specs it has. Fan and laptop itself is very noisy which is concerning that it's running rough under minimal stress on the computer. I would not have spent the money if I knew half of the cool features were garbage. Look into other devices before you buy this one especially if you want a 2 in 1!

I write this review after three years I bought this computer at bestbuy. I could not be more happy than I am. I use it a lot everyday, I carry it everywhere and I use it in class. It works perfectly. I never use the touchpad because I always have a mouse so I find it even better that they switched the position of the keyboard and the touchpad. Being able to move the screen is a big pro, I can even easily use my computer while standing or lying on the bed or reading. Touchscreen works perfectly, never had any problem. At first I thought I didn't even need it, but now I find myself trying to make other computers work touching their screen. It is indeed useful, I use it without even realizing. Don't underestimate the importance of a keyboard with backlight. Before buying it, I read online people complaining about wifi reception, but I never experienced any problem with that.
