This is an okay laptop. It covers the basics.
Pros:
Newer CPU
Fast SSD
FHD
Copilot
Wi-Fi 6
A lot of ports (more than enough USB ports)
Expandable RAM
DDR5 RAM
Cons:
Weak CPU (new but still weak)
Low base RAM (8 GB is not enough nowdays)
Only 256 GB of storage
Integrated graphics (so no GPU-intensive tasks like gaming)
Retail price ($700 for this is a big rip-off; you can buy a much better laptop for cheaper)
No touchscreen (even much cheaper laptops nowadays have that)
No fingerprint sensor
No face recognition
Made of plastic
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who needs it for work or college. 8 GB of RAM is not enough in 2025. Sure, you'll be able to run any computer just fine at 8 GB, but it will be slow (my PC with 32 GB of RAM uses 20 GB when idling). Just having multiple Chrome tabs open will fill up your memory quickly, which will lead to slow performance since the laptop will start using the SSD for extra memory, which is very very slow.
Overall, this Acer - Aspire Go 15 Laptop is not a good buy at the price. Not taking the price into consideration, it's alright for basic browsing tasks.
