I️ didn’t feel ripped off like I️ normally do after a bigger purchase. Good quality for the price

I had previously bought this laptop for my son. When it was time to buy a gift for my nephew for high school graduation I knew just what to get him. This laptop is so impressive with it's performance that I highly recommend it. My son uses it for work as well as playing games and loves it.

So far love the touchscreen and the conversion to tablet capabilities. The mousepad is taking some adjustment. So far I like what I have used on this one.

I have had Half a dozen different brands of laptops and so far this is my favorite, great price, great features, reliable, thin and convenient. if I had it all to do over again I would buy it again only sooner !

Simply excellent all the way around. Have never been disappointed with Acer products. Solid battery life - approximately 5 to 6 hours without battery save mode enabled - which is amazing for a 15 incher married with an i7 processor. I did upgrade the hard drive (large in capacity BUT slow as molasses) to a 2.5" SSD and now it boots super fast ... like waking up from hibernate or a sleep state fast - from a cold, full off condition. Amazing. When I opened it up, which was very easy, I also noticed it had an empty m.2 slot just waiting for a PCIE SSD. So this thing is an upgrade monster. Last but not least, the screen is awesome. Just awesome. All the right port offerings. Tremendous display. Good battery life. Easy to open and expandable. Looks good. Typical Acer quality throughout. Buy one !

Bought this ACER on sale from Best Buy to run QuickBooks Pro 2017 and so far, everything is working great.

The computer works great. I have had no issues with it yet. The only complaint would be how loud the fan is.

Really then and flexible with the GPU graphic hardware and 12GM memory for Davinci Resolve video editing and coloring. Flip the screen over to get huge tablet. Things to be aware of: no network jack or VGA output.

The Acer R15 is amazing. After unpacking the laptop I charged the unit for a few short minutes as the battery was almost fully charged upon arrival. The first boot-up of the unit went as expected and was uneventful. After setting up my internet connection, Microsoft pushed down some automatic updates to WIndows 10 operating system. I own two other computers (one desktop model and one laptop) both made by other computer companies. The speed of the Acer is outstanding as compared to my other computers. The processor is very fast, and when you switch between programs it happens in a flash! There is no lag time, and you won't see that dreaded egg timer symbol. Pure speed. This unit has 12 GB of DDR4 memory which is very generous indeed. The laptop even after hours of usage does not run 'hot'. It's great that you can lean the unit on your lap and not have to shift it around to cool it down. Very nice. The Acer has a backlit keyboard, which is great when you're in a dimly lit room. No more struggling to see the keyboard in the dark. You have the option of shutting off the keyboard lighting by depressing the Fn F9 buttons. This laptop also doubles as a 'tablet'. All you have to do is fold the unit into the desired position and you're ready to go. The screen is touch sensitive. This computer is loaded with a lot of niceties'. The unit is advertised with up to 8 hours of battery life, has USB 3.1, I7 Intel processor, HDMI, and on and on. I don't think you will be disappointed with the units specifications. I found the output and sound of the speakers to be just fine. After all you are not purchasing a boom-box. On a closing note the unit has a huge storage capability, as it comes with one Terabyte of space. More than enough for storage of all of your photographs and documents. Overall this laptop is an absolute winner and has my vote of confidence.

I use this laptop for school everyday. The Intel cpu can handle all my school apps simultaneously. I am usually doing coding and programming. Running animations. Have not had a problem yet. Very clear quality!!

This is a great laptop did some gaming on it and it looks really good for a laptop and it is very fast too would definitely recommend to someone looking for a laptop to do photo and video editing

I enjoy the 2 in 1 feature on this computer. It's very convenient for sheet music at the piano. I have used it for photo/video editing and have had no performance issues. Biggest issue is that it takes a long time to start up and freezes on booting up sometimes.

Bought this for my wife when I bought an HP Envy for myself. She loves it, and she uses graphics heavy drafting software. Great performance.

Bought this for my wife and wish I had bought one for me, at the time. Fantastic screen and speed! Has room for an added SSD which I added. Wish BB still carried this one. :(

I use this laptop for both work and a bit of gaming. Runs smoothly, and the aesthetics are nice. Haven't had a problem at all. Overall, a great purchase.

This one seems to work better than the Asus I returned.
